So, I went to check out the new Asura faces on my engineer. Decided they weren't my cup of tea. Then I started playing with the colour scheme (why do I do this to myself??), and now can't decide which I like better. HALP!

Red hair and brighter yellow eyes are what I currently have, but I'm quite liking the teal hair and darker yellow/golden eyes.

Pupils on the left one are too small for me, so I'd pick the one on the right.

But overall that base face is still the cutest asura face :P

It's odd that the pupils looks smaller (though I agree, they do) literally the only thing I changed about the eyes is the colour.
I love that base face for Asura

Though it does highlight one issue with GW2, not being able to cutomize most of the glows. It would be nice if you could die the flame effect, or like the glows on the Scarlet backpacks (rather than just picking one of them to build). Same with class effects, maybe I don't want every mesmer to love purple.

blue fireballs would be nice.. would be nice if games allowed you to customize your ability colors..

I had a traits redesign that would offer stuff like blue fireballs.

Basically, I'd remove all the situational traits like fall damage, when downed, and while resurrecting from their current trait lines. I'd then make new traits to replace them and a new trait line with no stats associated with it called the utility trait line. You can pick two traits from this line and I'd move all the situational traits to here. You could then design fluff traits like blue fireballs or special death animatoins (Enemies an Ele kills has a 10% chance to burn to ash on death) and have them be unlockable rewards.

Champions Online used to let you change your ability colours. The game overall I found a bit weak, but the customisation was absolutely amazing.

Even if they didn't allow all the colors, but perhaps a choice of 10 or something.

Optimally, I'd prefer a WoW style enchant system (not for stats perhaps) where you could put a glow/misty effect/ whatever on another item.

I think customizing ability colors and effects would mess with pvp a bit. I doubt they will want to do that.

Grabbed the new Ancestral Outfit from the gem store. Really like the look of this one over the other outfits.
