That's actually where the set comes from, I saw his guardian, and I just had to have that set. Took me a few months, but crafted a full set of ascended gear, bought celestial and golden lion dyes and crafted my legendary. Now my next goal is infinite light =D

I owe this thread an apology; my previous post here was July 2013 and I never did come back and post pics...F-A-I-L.

Anywho, here are a few pics I scrounged up. Nothing really fancy, and I have fairly mundane tastes in armor/weapons, heh. Not helping is the rather poor lighting in some of the pics I took (ranger being biggest offender).









Skins used:

Warriors are their respective cultural T3, with Chaos weapons. Ele is CoF using the Hellfire gloves; weapon skins are the corrupted weapons (the whole fire armor + icy weapons on an ele makes sense to me in a way). Ranger is cultural T2, chaos weapons (yep, I farmed up the gold to get every one of those, classical weapon models + shiny = yes please).

I'm about 170 AP away from the Hellfire shoulders, which will go on my ele for sure.

Dyes used:

Warriors (yeah I'm crazy and have 2): Abyss, Illumination (for the gold/yellow), Midnight Rust (for the leather portions)
Ele: Abyss, Blood (for the red), Illumination
Ranger: Abyss, Blood, White

Need to grab some pics of my guardian and thief at some point.

Thanks! Your last one you posted is excellent, especially with how the golden textures of the armor somewhat resemble the hilt on Sunrise. Good combo.

Time permitting tonight, I'll snag some of my guardian and thief. As I said almost two years ago, this thread needs more charr.

Helm/hat recommendations for the thief welcome. Only condition is I want the hair to stay visible. May get the pirate eye patch or something of that nature.

Skins: T3 for the guard (it costs enough gold, might as well use it on every toon I can), sneakthief for the thief, chaos weapons.

Dyes: white, abyss, and enameled sacrifice (which is one of my favorite dyes I've found...it's the red/black mix) for the guard, and abyss plus...crap, I forget what made that orange color. I think it may have been Honey, of all things.

Updated my ranger a bit, and got a better pic:



Inspired by some of the charr NPCs I've seen. That's the T3 shoulder, Krytan mask, and the rest is T2. The green dye there is pine; would like to find something a weee bit darker, but as someone pointed out in this thread (or somewhere else on this board), it's like everyone is either some bunch of dark shades, or black + something (Ok, I'm definitely guilty of the latter).

You can almost feel the velvet on the corset and the sweet little ankle bracelet is just divine.
