Grimgor rushed forward, but at halfway to the tower he suddenly stopped. A group of ghouls and skeletons were charging inside the tower, but a sound of thunder came through the gateway and severed body parts and shattered bones burted out of the hallway. Thane appeared at the tower and gave him a glance, then continued fighting the flow of adversaries that seemed never-ending.

Grimgor rolled inside through the hallway thanks to the opening Chonar created, a moment later he heard the clashing sound of steel and bones again. He got up and turned back to the fighting warrior. Sudden surge of memories hit him as he heard Brother Sona's wise words in his mind once again: "Respect is the first virtue of the light, one of the three main pillars that hold our belief.". "Thank you Lord." he said calmly, and chanted a power word that would grant the thane greater constitution for a while, and then chanted another holy word, this time yelled at the end: "Aegis!". A thick holy light covered the dwarf warrior's body, guarding him from any possible damage.

Realising he did all he could for the fierce fight at the hallway, he rushed to the roofless top of the tower, where riflemen were taking shots after shots, trying to aim the huge aberration. Catching a better view of the huge undead there, Grimgor immediately gave up his hopeless plan of shackling the giant. "Even all cathedral can't hold this." he said to himself, and focused on mustering rest of his power to protect the ones around him.

((Let me know if that giant belly tries to hit that tower topside, i may have a trick at my sleeve as a last minute save ))

(( I'm not touching lore figures, I'm a guest here. Directing lore figures should be done by the thread's host, I say. Also a headsup, 'thane' is an honorary title for 'family/clan leader', so one'd say "the thane" instead of just "thane". ))

Both Riflemen didn't need to hear that twice. With the Abomination thoroughly distracted and wavering, both dwarves aimed straight and true along their rifles. With a reverberating shot, the seeds were shot straight into the gigantic Abomination's ankle, tearing through stitches and seams to strike the bone within.

The Mountainking, invigorated by the priest's blessings, smiled under his helmet and nodded at the younger dwarf. He continued to fight off the hordes of Undead that tried to claw their way towards the druids, riflemen and priest, standing in the doorway ontop a steadily growing pile of limbs, bones and debris. Whatever blows Chonar didnt' deflect tore away at his plate armor, bone impacting to steel and sending sparks flying. The old warrior twirled about with both weapons extended and landed on a knee, taking the legs out underneath numerous shambling undead. Glancing up at the towering Abomination, he looked impressed when he noticed the tempest of biting, stinging, swarming insects that surrounded it. He pushed himself up, his old heart racing as he wheezed- but the light that infused Grimgor's prayerwork gave him second wind.

Seeing the shots dig deeply into the Abomination's leg, he yelled loudly. "Tauren! Do yer thing! The shots a-OOOFF" The breath got knocked out of him as he slammed into the stone wall when a Scourgehound pounced onto his chest. The warrior dropped his weapons and held up both hands to catch both jaws of the undead beast in his plate-clad fingers, moments before they would've clamped down on his face. With a roar that could just as easily had come from a Fel Orc, the Mountainking pulled the jaws apart until with a sickening crunch they came free, with the hound's skull crushing in on itself against its' own spine.

Jorn had been watching the insects do their job, but also making sure none of the living were being targeted by the insects. It seemed though, as he had thought, the massive quantities of dead, rotting flesh was more than keeping their attention. Turning towards the abomination, he noticed as the riflemen were able to plant the seeds into the abominations legs.
It will require a little more effort than starting from the chest, but no matter. The end result will be the same. The Tauren reached into his satchel of herbs, pulling several leaves from it. Imbuing them with some natural energies, he then placed them tenderly on his tongue before chewing them thoroughly, and swallowing. Feeling some of his spent energies being restored, Jorn turned to the dwarfs.
"I would suggest you move to another area. The vines will make the abomination unstable, and being so close may prove dangerous. Chris will be able to keep me safe while I channel the natural energies needed to grow the Ironwood vines, and we will be able to move much quicker than you all if the need arises." Then, turning back to 'Tiny', Jorn sat on the cold stone floor and began to once again commune with nature. Luckily, the druids had had the foresight to call upon all the spirits they would need now, when they were able to pool their energies. Now, Jorn was able to quickly make a link before channeling the natural energy into the seeds.

Chris, watching his friend begin the process of calling upon the natural spirits, turned back to the dwarfs. "I would do as he suggests. Shifting into the form of a bird takes up but a mere half-second, allowing us to react quickly. And I'm more than a match for some lowly Scourge." Chris smiled his lupine smile, showing up his large, sharp fangs.
"Go now. And be ready. The vines will probably not completely destroy this monster, just bring it down to a more manageable state. Then is when we must pounce with all our might, to cleanse it's unnatural energies from this world." Chris transformed into the form of a large cat once again before proceeding to take up a position at the base of the stairs. Here, he relieved the Mountian King and allowed enough room for the dwarves to leave the tower, while drawing the attention of the nearby Scourge. Chris used his feline agility to dodge between the undeads attacks, while his sharp claws quickly dismantled those within his reach. Keeping the undead off of the stairs, and on the other side of his deadly claws, Chris began to dance with the Scourge, fluidly dodging each slow mindless attack while striking back at the same time.

Jorn, still meditating on the floor of the guard tower, honed in on each of the seeds. Then, slowly, he began pouring natural energy into them, drawing upon that from the land, the spirits, and even himself. The seeds began germinating, small roots breaking from the hard shell of the seed. As more energy was provided the roots continued breaking through the shell and continued growing, slowly, larger, thicker, more. As the roots became as wide around as a human's wrist, and as plentiful as the hairs on your head, Jorn began growing the roots up. Up, through the legs, into the abdomen. By now, the roots were as think as Jorns own waist. Yet they were no linger roots, but hardened green vines. They climbed higher through the abomination, encompassing the various pieces of sown together flesh. Soon, the abomination seemed to start turning green, as the vines forced their way through the outer stitches. Under the druids care, the vines seeking to escape the beast turned back in, burrowing deep inside once more. The abomination had long forgotten the insects by now, trying to shake it's swelling legs and body in an attempt to remove it's irritation. Yet the vines continued onward, upward, outward. They began tearing through the beasts flesh, ripping it's stitching's, forcing the abomination apart from the inside out. The already giant abomination began growing as it's body swelled under the massive vines. By this point, the vines had traveled all the way throughout the abomination, from head to toe and everywhere between. As they forced their way out of the abominations head, Jorn stopped growing the vines further, having exhausted a great amount of his energy already. Digging deeper into the wells of natural energy around him, Jorn now focused on drawing the vines out. The strength and sturdiness of the Ironwood vines proved a match to the dark magics that held the creature's body together, as chunks of abomination began raining down on the battlefield. Both Chris and Jorn kept careful watch, ready to move instantly if any started falling their way. The crusaders nearby hastily retreated, watching stunned as the Scourge was smashed by the massive falling chunks of flesh. As the magics holding together the behemoth crumbled, so did Tiny, it's own weight crushing upon itself, until all that was left was a large hill of rotten flesh.

Yet even in such a state, the dark magics reanimating the flesh were still active as long as the chunks were not destroyed. Even the swarms of insects were no match for suck a feast. Using the last of his energy, Jorn opened up a hole in the dark corruption the Scourge had brought onto the land, shining a powerful beam of moonlight onto the mountainous pile of flesh. He then called out, using the winds to guide his voice, before collapsing upon the floor.
"Strike now, heros! With the wrath of nature, lend aid to the cleansing of this diseased flesh. Purify it with the light, burn it with fire, what ever you can muster, strike now."

((Sorry for the long post, but I couldn't stop once started. And sorry Menguce, but maybe that save will instead aid some unfortunate crusaders or soldiers? For any who may think they are without the necessary skills to destroy the flesh, bombs most defiantly count as fire. ))

((Pfft. My mage is Frost. He doesn't need fire; only when he's pissed damn right off. ))

Darren watched both the druids' and dwarven riflemens' attacks do their work, but found himself assaulted by numerous undead. He drew his sword and began hacking and slashing his way through them, but their numbers seemed endless. A lucky hit from one of the undead skeletal soldiers knocked his sword from his hand, and he blinked twenty yards out of the mass of undead. Turning back, he raised both hands, summoning another Ring of Frost. As he did so, the drain on his energy was immediate and obvious. He staggered, gasping at the sudden, exhausting strain on his mana.
Blast it, he thought, dropping to his knee. Fortunately, the entire mass of undead he'd been fighting were caught in the ring, flash-frozen within seconds, leaving him with nothing more than over thirty frozen blocks of ice. Grinning, he began raining fireballs on the mass of frozen Scourge, shattering the blocks to pieces, and leaving him completely drained.
    That is not good . . .

Aldean and the Greys were shocked to see the vines develop so quickly. The legs they had been slashing had suddenly resembled a forest in Ashenvale and they had become powerless in the process. Seeing that they were no longer able to help against the abomination, Aldean decided to continue to carve his way through the Scourge. He spotted Darion Mograine and a few of his death knights fighting off a torrent of ghouls and Aldean made a tough decision. "Boys, looks like they could use a hand." The Greys noddes as they parried blows, "We understand sir, us alone like this isn't really an option." Aldean was a bit surprised at the comment, "You don't mind fighting with those creatures." Another Grey responded, "We're a little past Northrend sir, death knights are alright in my book at this point." As he said that an axe came screaming towards the soldiers thoat and made impact. "No!" screamed one of the Greys as the third of their comrade fell today. They are right, we are alone. "Regroup with the death knights!"

Aldean and the Greys made their way towards Mograine and his warriors. They were hurling ice spells all around them and gripped flying nerubians to them. "Looks like we have bugs!" The death knights turned to see crossbolts fly into an approaching column of nerubians. They then cast grip spells at the undead in the Greys way, allowing them to join their line. "What's the plan Mograine? How are we going to wipe out these Scourge?" asks Aldean expecting a clever plan in mind. "You have as much idea as I do human. We've just tried to secure what we can." Aldean thinks as his soldiers joined the death knights in the melee. "We need to get a solid spot, is there any high ground nearby?"

"There is no need Aldean of the Grey!" He truns along with the death knight. There undead on purple robed horses glide behind them toward the Scourge. At the front an undead woman holding a Forsaken banner points forward, "Your line is good enough! We Greys have this!" Aldean looked in fury They dare come here???!! Lady Caroline of the Grey rides up to him as her soldiers thrust themselves into the mass of Scourge. "It's a pleasure Aldean, for once I'm not trying to kill you." Aldean spits and stop his fighting, "This is bullshit, how dare you approach us in Lordaeron of all places?!" The Forsaken captain ignores him and eyes the battlefield. "Scattered adventurers, a giant turd in the shape of a thing that walks and flying eagle things. The Alliance always makes things interesting." Sylvanas jumps from her firing position into the allied line, "At last, where have you been?" Caroline looks down to her mistress in dismay. "Cheveyos called for a call to arms, but sent us here. She says she can handle Sargeras and she--" Everyone turns in shock Sargeras?!

((Jist of the post: An allied line of death knights, Forsaken and Humans has been formed. Sanctuary can be found there.))

Tiny thrashed around as the insects, vines and gunshots riddle her with wounds. She spots the tower and notices the attackers. She swats with her arm, hoping to finish them and continue her rampage. "Tiny things will die!!!

"Here comes." Grimgor's blurred sight locked at the gigantic arm swing, as he thought. He took a deep breath, trying to clear his mind. He withdrew the skin from his sash, and drank rest of the wine in a few gulps. Attack was imminent, and there were still people in the tower, at least he was guessing so. He started murmuring a power word, and yelled "Barrier!" at the end of it, raising his arms high, his palms open towards the sky. A small dome of glowing holy light appeared atop the tower, effectively covering the open topside.

Grimgor grinned, "Not that alone." he said, as he knew such a huge swing could not be stopped by a mere barrier spell. His blood felt lighter with the power of holy water, and he felt an immense amount of holy light gathering in his hands. In a split second before the huge arm smashed at the dome, he raised his right arm, clenching his right fist then raising two of his fingers above. A bolt of holy light shot at the dome, and suddenly it took the shape of a high cone, effectively turning the entire tower into a giant spear, it's tip made of burning holy light. Then came the smash.

The moment huge abomination landed his blow to the tower, it could not see where it actually was hitting, but it did not care neither. That just eased Grimgor's plan, as he knew his shield would not be able to counter such a brute force by the shape of a dome, so he managed to change his barrier's shape into something more stingy, hoping that it would impale itself with his own brute force. First impact was hard to stand however, and bend one of his knees to the ground, shaking his body all over, and hurting his raised fingers like it was the unseen pillar of the cone. He groaned in pain, and almost instantly his body turned into clay, activating stone form and giving him the power to endure the pressure.

But that was it. It worked as Grimgor calculated, as the unholy flesh touched the holy energies it began to burn inside, effectively impaling itself to the tower. Cone burned the arm upwards, and after a moment of deep shade, Grimgor saw the light and the sky again. Tiny's entire arm had a huge hole on it, and it hit the floor around the tower, shaking the tower and everything in it as well. Grimgor could only hold the barrier up so far, losing his balance as the tower shook all over, he rolled on the ground, and the barrier disappeared. He tried to gain his conciusness, and his body turned normal. He was not sure if that would hold the giant aberration or it would destroy the tower altogether, he yelled "Must escape!", trying to warn anyone left in the tower to leave, and he jumped off the tower on top of the gigantic arm. Feeling the unholy energies swirling inside, he was disgusted, and while trying to get up to his feet and run, his feet stucked at a wine and he fell off the huge arm to the ground, a few yards away from the tower, and he passed out.

    ((Thanks for the oppurtunity!))

Dodging the raining chunks of Abomination flesh, bone and stitching as Tiny started to come apart, the Mountainking called his riflemen over to cover the retreat. He nodded at the druids, trusting them to escape in the manner they saw fit. When Tiny came crashing down on the tower, he instinctivly ducked into the doorway, but was surprised to see the shimmering spire of holy energy impaling the humongous Abomination's vinesprouting arm.

Now more closely resembling a shapeless amalgation of flesh and vine, Tiny struck wildly, shaking the tower on its foundations. Noticing the priest completely exerting himself to the point of losing consciousness, and then doing just that as he toppled from Tiny's torn-free arm, the old warrior leapt over and grabbed the younger dwarf by the robe's collar at the neck. Hoisting him over his shoulder, Chonar made his escape while carrying Grimgor, followed closely by Berin and Korran, the riflemens' blue cloaks billowing in the wind caused by Tiny's cartwheeling arms.

Immobilized, Tiny's body thrashed around wildly, ruptured limbs taking roofs straight from the buildings surrounding him. It shattered the remains of the tower wherein Jorn and Chris had been standing moments before, sending an explosion of debris scattering into a wide area.

The remaining Gryphon Riders landed near Darren. "Mage! Hop on, lad! If ye got any power left, we can strike this rotten bastard from above!" The dwarves wore a grim countenance. One of their own had been struck from the sky, and hadn't resurfaced from the moat.

    ---

"If ye cannae recognise Gryphons anymore, Lady Caroline, I fear death 'as rotted yer brain more 'n ye dare ta admit." The Mountainking called out towards the forsaken he vaguely recognised as Lady Caroline of the Grey. He had known of the woman, back when she was still alive. He walked into the gathered host of Death Knights, Forsaken and Humans. Placing Grimgor in a seated position against an outcropping of stone, the old Thane looked across the gathered Forsaken, Humans, and various deathknights.

The thane nodded respectfully towards the leader of the Ebon Blade. "Darion." He murmured, before nodding with the same respect towards Aldean. "Aldean."
Out of courtesy and necessity, he nodded in recognition towards Sylvanas as well. "Banshee Queen." He muttered.

The thane took of his helmet and began stuffing his pipe, as if the battle had already ended. "Now. I've lost good gryphons and at least one of me men here already. If the Scourge keeps nippin' at our heels, we'll be overrun in approximately an hour, maybe two. Atop 'a that, I'm hearin' gibberish 'bout some sort 'o Sargeras business."

He lit his pipe and inhaled deeply, the glow of burning tobacco briefly illuminating his face.

"The last hour, I've seen an Abomination bigger'n a Storm Giant, and an entire host o' Paladins actually bein' Scourge in disguise. What's worse, the fellas we came ta help out..."

He tossed the ichor-stained, blooded insignia of the Argent Crusade to Aldean, who caught it and looked at it. The tained sigil glimmered in the light of a nearby explosion, and the saronite taint on it left no doubt Chonar had torn it free from a Death Knight's armor.

".. 'ad been turned into fledgling Death Knights. We've been killin' the Argent Crusade."

He allowed for a moment for this to sink in.

"Now, I dunnae 'bout ye, but fer me, this is a lot ta take in. If ye lads and lasses will listen to this old soldier, I suggest a retreat, regroup, and the sharing of any and all intel." He puffed out a circle of smoke. "What's it gonna be?"

Chris watched, horrified, as Jorn collapsed onto the floor, moments before Tiny began to fall upon the tower. Sprinting over to his friend, he took on the form of a bear, throwing himself over the lifeless body of the Tauren. Chris braced himself for impact, waiting for Tiny to hit.
This wasn't part of the plan! Why did you have to go use all your energy you cow! Hold on, what is THAT?! Chris looked up as a large sphere created a dome over the tower, shining brightly in the darkness.
What is... the priest? He must have. Even do, it won't hold for long. Chris grabbed the Tauren's armor with his jaws, careful not to puncture them, and hoisted Jorn onto his back. Moving as quick as he dared, he exited the tower, made his way down the stairs, and out of the possible range of the falling flesh. Just as he set down his friend, the tower collapsed, sending debris everywhere. Knowing they needed to regroup with the others, quickly, Chris did the only thing he could think of to wake Jorn. Bending down to put his large snout next to Jorns ear, Chris let loose a massive roar, one that would have sent the birds flying and the deer running in all corners of the forest.

Jorn, slowly coming to with all the commotion, lept up suddenly at the loud roaring in his ear. Rubbing his ringing earlobe, he turned to his friend.
"Ouch, did you have to do that? Now I can't hear!" Chris mearly shifted back into his typical worgen shape, before laughing heartily at his friends exclamation.
"Just be glad you can hear at all. That priest might have just saved our lives. Come now, just us fly, we need to regroup with the others." Chris then pointed towards the group of Humans, Death Knights, Forsaken, and Dwarves. Looking back at his friend, who was just getting up on his hooves, he saw Jorn nod at him, then shifting to his brawn hawk. Chris changed as well, as soon both hawks were on their way to the only sanctuary in the midst of the Scourge.

Arriving, the two druids heard only the last part of Chonar's suggestion, yet both agreed with it. Looking around as they returned to their regular forms, they noticed the signs of battle and exhaustion in all. Noticing the dwarf priest unconscious, Jorn cast a small regenerative spell, that should allow him enough strength to wake and walk again.
"We agree with the Mountainking's suggestion. Many of us are worn and lack the energy to continue much longer, myself included. A moment to rest and decide upon a better course of action would be most beneficiary."

Sylvanas watched as the dwarf presented himself in a fashion that she felt enough humility for her tastes. She also felt dismayed at his lack of knowledge of the situation. After all, they had just gotten here. "I'm afraid regrouping isn't entirely an option. The Argent Crusade is nowhere to be found, we've lost contact days ago. Second, my and Darion's own forces are split between three fronts."

Aldean looked behind him and left his hole in the line for an overzealous Grey. "You're saying we're cut off? What the hell has been happening here?!" Just then, Tiny began to rip at her arm and scream. "TINY RIGHT HANDED!! ME FINE!!!" Her arm is torn off and held in her left arm. "ME LEARN AMBIDEXTERITY!" She thrusts her arm toward the newly formed line of death knights.

"Take cover!!" screams many in the line. Darion looks in awe, "Death Knights!" Many of the death knights launch their arms forward and purple hands eject into the air towards the gigantic falling arm. As they do so, the Scourge, unhindered by the fear of being crushed. Flood into the line and slice at the vulnerable death knights as they cast their spells, felling ten.

"Greys! Into position, protect the death knights!" The Greys run forward in front of the knights and slice into the advancing Scourge column. Forsaken Greys follow with Lady Caroline in front on horseback. Aldean and she scream, "For Lordaeron!" As do many of the warriors. They crash into the Scourge and begins to plow over them.

((The Greys could use some covering fire!))

((Omg. So many posts, LOL. Guess my mage was just in the background, following and casting spells, while I was gone. ))

Darren turned as Tiny held her right arm in her left, appearing to be unhurt at all. The young mage stood in shock for a split-second before raising his hands, summoning more water elementals. The spell took its toll on his already-drained energy, and he sluggishly reached in to his cloak, withdrawing his second Mana Gem. He absorbed its energies, feeling slightly renewed, then turned back to the Scourge mass, a grin on his face.
I'm probably going to regret this one, he thought, lifting both hands, palms open, facing one another. A red orb of fire slowly formed, growing bigger and bigger, then began to slowly gain an aura of icy blue. Within seconds, he held a massive Frostfire orb in between his hands, and turned it to face the Scourge armies. He released it, watching it shoot towards the Scourge, shooting both fireballs and frostbolts in every direction. He expended more energy to make sure none of the orb's attacks struck his allies, and to also control the orb's course, shooting it straight in to the Scourge ranks. It exploded, both burning and freezing many of the undead soldiers. As son as it blew up, he sank to his knees in exhaustion, his energy spent. He went to reach for his third and last Mana Gem when he stopped. I should save that. They should have it under control for the moment. I just need a few moments to rest, and then I'll rejoin them. Darren used up the last bit of his energy to teleport out of combat, away from the two clashing armies, and sank to the ground, slumping against a tree. He reached in to his pack and took out a wineskin, unstoppered it, and took a long swig from it.

(( Mexy mate, Chonar's riflemen on gryphonback landed and offered you a ride and/or an opportunity to strike Tiny from above. You should acknowledge that in your post. ))

Chonar chewed on his pipe as he watched Aldean and Caroline, together with their troops, meet the Scourge head-on. He looked over his shoulder and saw only small packs of undead advancing against Ebon Blade Death Knights. "Well, at least we aint completely s'rounded." He mumbled. He nodded towards the Greys while looking at his riflemen. Berin and Korran nodded in affirmation, and split up. Each rifleman headed to a flank of the Scourge force, barely out of range of the immobilized Tiny's arm, and began taking out the spellcasters amongst the horde of undead, taking aim for the more fragile glowing skulls of the skeletal magi in the back.

Turning towards Sylvanas, the Mountainking reached into his armor and pulled out a map of the Plaguelands and Tirisfal. He kneeled down and rolled the parchment out on the street tiles. "I refuse tae believe Tirion is dead, or worse. The Ashbringer should be able ta 'old 'is ground long enough ta get into a fortified position."

His fingertip pointed towards Hearthglen. "If I'm ta believe ya, Banshee Queen, the road tae Hearthglen will be overrun. T'is a narrow valley and utterly defendable. Approaching from th' south would be a complete death trap." He looked up at Sylvanas. "If we're ta survive this and save whatever of.. your lands remain from bein' overrun, ye better share what ye know. Which fronts are yer forces divided across? Who was that feller, Darced ye called 'im, and what's this about Sargeras?"

Falling. Falling. Another memory from his past. Abomination, and magi. Summoned at the top of the tower. Shackles of holy light. Pushed back. Falling.

"Need to levitate myself." thought Grimgor, all of a sudden his dream reminded him of his actual fall. He woke up in panic, taking fast breaths, his right hand grabbed his Jambiya as a reflex, and his left hand moved over his chest and face to check if he was wounded. He was not. Also, he was no longer under that tower. His vision was still a bit blurry, but he started to see silhouettes around him. And as his senses came back, he felt a bad headache. "Oh that hurts." he moaned, holding his head.

Looking forward, he saw the Thane, a lot of soldiers and that weird looking hunter-lady. There were many death knights around them, channeling some weird purple shadow magic, and some undead and human warriors were fighting other undead. "Messy." he said, in total confusion. Were not they fighting death knights? Now they were defending them. "Undead fighting undead? What hell.." he said to himself. "Must be horde croneys.." he thought, remembering how some paladins talked about some 'Forsaken' back in the cathedral. He clenched his teeth with hatred, to him Horde was that bad: To allow undead fight for them. But again, it was a confusing matter, because King Varian also let the Death Knights into Alliance, and although he respected him utmost, he never agreed with that decision. But no one was asking his opinion on the matter, were they?

Later he catched the glimpse of the dwarven leader, kneeling down on parchment of some sorts. He was discussing matters with others, and he saw the human commander there as well. He trusted their judgement in those confusing matters, because they were the Alliance commanders in the field at that moment. "Will do as they say." he murmured, acknowledging the situation needed cooperation even with the rivals.

Turning his gaze over at the duo of druids, he yelled: "Hey! Got some milk?".

(( Chonar, as in the title problem, i know how thane title works but i'm afraid Grimgor does not. He is a stranger to the customs of dwarven tradition, and im trying to write as much like as what he sees around him, what he thinks, what he feels. Regards ))

Sylvanas understod the dwarf's eagerness and decided she could explain. "I have little idea ofwhat is happening in this part of Lordaeron. I and a contingent of Forsaken passed the Bulwark expecting the lush forests that have been growing in recent months. We expected the Argents and Horde heroes to greet us as we entered these lands. But it was not to be. We were ambushed by Darced's forces, a lich that until recently was one of my most trusted advisors. We did not expect to see him as we did, but it seemed he had already slaughtered the crusaders and claimed much of the Plaguelands as his own."

She began to fire more arrows, and as she scored hit after hit she continued her story. "As news arrived of Darced's betrayal and his promise of domination I prepared my people for the oncming invasion. But as the prepartions commenced we encountered a much bigger problem." One of her enchanted arrows pierced a skeleton's skull and erupted into flame, scorching it's nearby allies and causing them to simmer.

"It seems that the Grey family, in pursuit of Alterac's walls and land discovered something that caused them to become posessed by Sargeras. I have no idea what, but the Greys under one of my soldier's Aldoss' command became ensnared and Sargeras himself claimed the body of one of their warriors. Now he marches from Alterac and clashes with the majority of my people in Hillsbrad." She ceases her firing and and glares at the dwarf. "We are alone, scattered, it is us against demons and Scourge. Let us focus on that fact for now."

Darion screams as he commands the Ebon Blade to thrust the arm toward Tiny. They nod and yell. Their power is focused into one dark arm and they force the arm into the air. Tiny is hit by the limb and plague clouds erupt. "ME NO THINK YOU GET IT! ME S'POSSED TO BLOW UP!" The fumes spread and land into Scourge line, they march forward and the green mist approaches the Greys and their line. "Fall back!" screams Aldean. The Greys, both Forsaken and living retreat beckoning all else to follow. "Plague! Run for it!"

    Tiny chuckles loudly. "I.......GO.........BOOO-OOOHHH----MMMMMMM--!!!"

(( Everything fine here mate, though I do hope the entire RP wont be one long battle from start to finish. Stories gotta have momentum, ups and downs, fastpaced bits and slowdowned bits and all that. Heck, Chonar hasn't even been able to introduce himself at this point, nor does he even know his comrades' names yet... except the Greys since they're supposed to be a somewhat famous human bloodline. As for not posting, I'm waiting for others to do so first, else my dwarf is taking the spotlight too much and I do not want that. I'm trying to keep roughly 3+ different people between each of my posts. ))

((I'm just working hardas hell between three different jobs, and then I get lost where my mage would or wouldn't be, haha.))

Darren spun around, re-energized, magic crackling at his fingertips, as Tiny screamed. He thought they'd finally taken her down, and instead, ended up seeing her about to explode.
    Oh. Damn.
He casted a quick Blink spell, teleporting himself somewhere - anywhere - that would protect him from the abomination's explosion.

((Fear not! My battle are always a little long and packed. Don't worry, there will be pleny of time to get everyone situated and introduced. This battle is just about over anyway. After all, I can't have Chonar the Mountainking getting mad.

"Oh really lad? You gettin' me pretty angry right about now." I turn from my laptop, there a dwarf in heavy armor and fantastic muscle tone. "Chonar--I." "Shut it lad ya know the price of makin' a Bronzebeard ill satisifed with a role play, do ye??!" I look in horror as the dwarf gets off the couch. I rise to explain, but get a swift crack in my left knee cap. "Aye lad, get your act together before I go all mountain king on yer ass!" I wimper in silence as the mean ol' dwarf eats my snacks and leaves. "What a good lad Darced, always willin ta hear what I have ta say." ((Just kidding, I couldn't resist.))

Before recieving any answer to his question, Grimgor was alarmed by the concerned voice of the Grey commander. Looking around in confusion, he saw people running around, trying to get away from the heap of unholy flesh desperately. He rose to his feet, and looked around. One of the Grey soldiers, an undead one at that, drew out his hand to offer a ride on his skeletal steed. Grimgor looked at him and spitted with disgustion, "Rather dead than undead!" he yelled, obviously refusing its offer. Undead soldier cackled at him and swiftly drove away.

Looking around in desperation, he remembered the Grey soldier he fixed. He was helpless, lying on the ground somewhere back. He rushed towards the tree he left the soldier under. While running, he heard the gigantic abomination yell, and he could understand only one thing: "BOOM!". "Light be with me!" he prayed, and he spotted the wounded warrior where he left. He held him from shoulders and tried to drag, but it was of no use: He was not strong enough to take cover with him. "It is him. Or me." he thought, facing the bitter choice.

An idea came through his mind in lightning fast. He stood up, and hastily channeled his holy power to his fingers, and then to the soldier. A small could appeared and covered the entire backside of the body, levitating it up in the process. Dragging the now lighter-than-air body, he rushed for the closest cover. Looking around, he saw a destroyed house basement, while upper construction was completely gone, there was a stairway going for a basement. Without hesitation, he dragged the body with him over there.

    Inside the darkness.

((I am sorry if i pushed my luck here a bit, but it seemed necessary as i spent a lot of effort to keep this guy alive. Aldean better give him a promotion after this is done! ))

((What, you didn't share?!! You really are a mean ol' dwarf! But yeah, sorry, the new patch means my guildies what to try the new stuff, so I get forced to tank endlessly.))

Jorn was delighted when the dwarven priest woke. He even chuckled after hearing his question. Chris, on the other hand, was almost bent over in laughter. As Jorn was about to reply to the naive dwarf when all of a sudden the commotion was heard. Watching the abomination they worked so hard to destroy begin to spread the plague, and the line of forsaken and human soldiers breaking, both druids quickly changed back to their hawk forms and moved back to a safer location. While still in the air, they noticed the dwarf priest trying to save a wounded human soldier. Despite the ever nearing plague cloud, the dwarf worked at moving the soldier to be in a safe location. The druids together pooled their energies, and called upon a primal wind to hold back the plague. They managed to contain it for a bit, holding it back while the priest and the soldier made it to the cellar and other soldiers made their way back from the front line. Before they completely released the primal winds, they sent a small gust to remain over the entrance to the cellar the dwarf and soldier entered, as to not allow and of the vile deadly agent to creep in and kill the two.

((No luck pushed at all, my druids just defiantly now need a cat nap. Or a nice rejuvenating herbal tea. ))
