Can someone explain why the GW2 launcher attempts to open a TCP/IP port on host's machine?
Probably seeding. Or you know, its hacking you and stealing your life, I heard ANet do that.
It cannot be seeding, as there are no outgoing P2P connections.

They have the ability to patch the game from within, so perhaps that is the channel that service listens on?
