Pie or Cake?

Ok, that looks awesome, but.... doesn't it look more like a pie? It hast at least the same structure as, say, pumpkin pie. A crunchy bottom crust with creamy goodness on top.

When I think of a cake, I think more of.. you know, two thick layers of fluffy bread with a layer of jelly or something in the middle, and covered in some icing.

With that I realise I have no idea what a pie is apparently

Cake! It's just about my favorite thing in the entire world. The only cakes I don't like are carrot and red velvet. There are very few pies I like but I've had a few good ones.

Well this is a difficult question for one reason... where to put 'cheesecake' at. In prep and how it looks after its more similar to a pie so i always clump it with that category.

Noooooooo! Cheesecake uses a crushed gram cracker crust. It's not the same thing as pie crust! Pie crust is large and flaky and dry. It gets stuck in your throat to the point where you need a glass of milk to get it down. Cheesecake crust is so buttery and rich and crumbly that that even without the "cheese" of the cheese cake there is nothing more to worry about than pure deliciousness.

There's a reason it's called cheeseCAKE and not cheesePIE!
