Windows XP 32 bit and performance of guild wars 2

Hey,

So i have the recommended system requirements for guild wars 2 but arena also recommends that windows vista and win 7 is recommended for playing guild wars and due to having xp does it impact much on the performance since we know that on 32 bit systems ( no matter if it is xp or not ) the maximum ram memory that can be used for one application is 2 GB of RAM and 64 bit OS do not have those restrictions, does having that restriction on my system would make a big deal while playing guild wars 2 or rather not.

have heard through a friend one of their guild mates runs xp and gets out of memory issues occasionally - or just a classic CTD
