Has someone ever took away a stronghold yet?
i mean un-bury it
Here is my BIG solo project
It is a recreation of my first MMO game "tibia." The world is huge and I had worked hard on it for a big subsection of the continent though I have taken a break from it and am working on it slowly
Tekkit, at the moment. I suppose I am a tiny bit late to the party, but I have pretty much enough materials to last for... well, pretty much for ever. I've more or less finalized general plans on a huge scientific compund as well as a series of small-ish magical castles, all I really need to do before I actually start building it is figure out where in my world I'm going to put it.
I have quite an interesting project going at the moment which was inspired by Sjin and his Sjindustry video - I've not built a oil rig on water but in the process of mapping out a refinery and its support structuring on a flat world in creative so I can work out what space it is going to take on a survival world.
2 step process and looking forward to putting it into a proper world - I have some screenshots on the machine at home, will try to get them posted up here later on.
MY current project is making my castle ready for haloween on the server i'm playing on, *phew* it's a lot of work, unfortunately i can't link to a picture because i haven't posted enough, but you will get a picture of it when i can.
I have just finished building a giant system of canals (connecting to seas) in a full circle covering 7 maps. Now I don't know what to do tho. Maybe collect music discs!
I just started rebuilding "Girdlegard" a fantasy word used in the novels: "The Dwarves" its a gaint project but so far im holding on to it
Because I'm a Disney princess at heart, the castle from Aladdin
Currently digging a rather large mineshaft on a survival single player server, this thing is planned to go from the top of a mountain all the way down to bedrock where a redstone railway station will be built in time, the stone gathered will be used to construct a large tower on top of the shaft afterwards, il probably run a railway around the walls to the top too.
There's also a large cave system directly below the point i have reached so far, bit annoying but can be dealt with.

Lately, I have been running around trying to find a donkey but I'm not having much luck.
I've not played for a few weeks, but my last in-game project was actually a sort of estate. It took up around the size of 3-4 chunks on the surface, and had not only separate pens for sheep (with around 50 sheep of different colours), cows (around 20 cows) and chickens (around 35 chickens), but it had 4 water docking points, and I dug out and filled a huge area to connect it from being a lake to the actual ocean/sea. That alone was 1-1.5 chunks wide so you can imagine the amount of water I needed.
It had a separate area for growing wheat which was kept under cover of tree clippings (which were from a nearby forest I planted). The 'housing' area was relatively small and was above the chicken pen/coup. Made entirely from wood from the same forest, it had 1 exit down into the chicken pen. I had issues with the chickens climbing up and trying to escape, so I had to double-gate it with pressure pads. I then extended it out a little further to give me more space, which led me over the wheat area. I built a second set of steps and another exit out to the side of the sea, so I could avoid the chicken pen completely.
Additionally, I built an underground chamber. Found a natural cave near where I was building so dug it out and then down. I wanted to create a secret area with an emergency escape, but I couldn't figure out the mechanics for water-based vertical escapes. Still, I covered the inside in wood and it looked pretty sweet.
Initially, it started on a fresh world, and was literally just me gathering lots of wood, and getting chickens to follow me to what was simply a holding pen with a raised edge. When nightfall came, the zombies turned up, and it was like a Justin Bieber concert. Over a few days, I built it out to what I described above. I got bored with it after a while though, and then it got deleted when I reformatted.
The project after that was mostly done in MC Editor, and was originally intended to be an underground hotel of sorts. I dug out a huge area (300-400 blocks square, and about 35 downwards), but got bored with that as well. At one end, there was a deep lake. I dug out that far, and put glass over the front.
I'm not sure what my next project will be. I'm tempted to build a water trap, but do it in such a way that the building itself floats above the waters surface and on all sides, the water drops down into a pit of no escape, perhaps with cacti at the bottom. As for actually getting inside, I'd need a bridge of some sort, but that'll be the obvious weak point against mobs, and I don't think I'll be able to avoid them taking advantage of it (as opposed to the trap).
