Advice for anyone looking for a new desk: BUILD YOUR OWN!!!!!!!! Do not spend $150 at IKEA for a desk that is terrible quality and not the exact specs you want. Buy lumber and build your own. This desk is 7 feet long and 30 inches deep and only cost me about $100 and 4 hours to make. Sturdy enough for me to jump on and I'm 220 lbs.

I plan to build a 54 inch section the right side to make an 7 foot by 7 foot L.

    2x4's + melamine + wood screws + time = fun times

    They are made by dell - 2001FP 20" - 3007FPW 30" - 2001FP 20"

It's quite an old setup now though, there are some details here. I got the idea from those guys a few years back.

Im a fan of the setup like that, Im also partial to the widescreen w/ 2 square boys on the wings. Too lazy to do the math and or measuring to match my 23"

    And here is my update:

    1. Moved computer into the corner. Hurts a bit that I can't see the beauty, but I'll live.
    2. Got two new monitors, 2x DELL U2212 HM, to increase screen real-estate. Won't really use them for gaming.

I like your layout, I'ma steal it. :3

It was a bit of a mess today (booking a trip, hence the passport, also organizing a bunch of external storage). I dusted and shifted stuff around to make it kind of presentable.

I will have a U2711 within the next week replacing the current U2311H, as well.

    Monitor: Dell U2311H 23" eIPS
    Keyboard: Razer BlackWidow Ultimate
    Mouse: Razer DeathAdder 3500
    Mousepad: Steelseries QcK+ 450x400mm
    Speakers: Altec Lansing VS4121
Equalizer Box: ADC Sound Shaper One MKII (I think this is from the 80's or early 90's, as it's meant for tape decks. It's cleaner than the Xonar's EQ on the speakers though.)
Phone: Samsung Galaxy Nexus I9250 4.1JB
Desk: Monarch Specialties Cappuchino L Shaped Home Office Desk (Separated)
Chair: Something made by Office Star, not sure what. It was given to me when my Uncle passed away.

    Yes Sir.

New build is the NZXT Switch 810. I have been trying out different case manufacturers as i build computers for the family. New build should be done sometime in Feb. I only get PC money for myself when i get overtime..

Indeed I do, bought it in college to see what all the fuss was about. Not been a bad laptop all things considered, although I wish Apple were a better company.

I like it more than I thought I would... I was worried that the shape change from the Logitech G9X to the AM would be annoying, but the AM feels a lot more "natural" in my hand (maybe because it is closer in shape to my work mouse).
