i want to upgrade my pc for mop

hello

so what i bought last year what was recommended by mmo champion. and now i want to do some upgrades.
1- Motherboard is ( ASUS AM3+ AMD 880G DDR3 2000 SATA 6Gbps and USB 3.0 Supported ATX Motherboard M5A88-V EVO )
2- CPU AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition
3- RAM is 8gb PNY
4- Graphics card AMD Radeon HD 6700 Series
5- Power supply Cross air 550 watt i guess, or 500
6- operating system is win7 64bit
7- resolution is 1360x768
8- wow settings before mop was High everything only shadow was low and sun shift low, Mop at Good settings i get 20fps in city and 50 to 100 in leveling area's

as in for network card etc, i have no idea at all am not the good in pc's. as in for heat cpu and gpu i never had problems with them.

I somewhat doubt you will get a reasonable upgrade on your system for $200, at least for wow.
I could be mistaken though, but at a quick glance your system doesn't look too bad, actually.

Yeah i know 200$ may not be much. But atleast i can do some upgrades with it, the important once.

My pc is good in mop, but i think its ony good in pvp and bgs cuz of lower effects, buti like to play pve and that might be a problem.
Btw i use a normal lcd 32 inch tv as a monitor, is that bad or normal ?

If I were you I'd overclock the 955 and buy a 6870.

I've been saying this in other threads and I will say it here, I would upgrade NOTHING until MoP is released because the game is still in Beta and the performance is all over the place. People with far better hardware are getting shit framerates.

Why are you playing at such a low resolution?

I'm assuming its your display device and not simply a decision on your part.

I strongly suggest getting a monitor with atleast a 1920x1080 resolution.

A one year old computer is going to run wow fine.

thanks all for helping, for overclocking i dunno what that means, but am guessing it has something to do with over performance, would that hurt my processor ?

also i am gona wait a bit before make anything, since i dont have billons of $'s

and yes my max resolution is low, cuz am using a sony LCD Tv 32 inch, which is not that great. so if i buy a good monitor would that improve alot ?

That's a pretty standard monitor for gaming, should be fine

I've been saying this in other threads and I will say it here, I would upgrade NOTHING until MoP is released because the game is still in Beta and the performance is all over the place. People with far better hardware are getting shit framerates.

Not sure about the Pandaria continent, but I'm running WoW in 1920x1080 on the highest settings available in the game menu since after 5.0.4 which I believe already put in all the graphics improvements like SSAO and other shiznit. It runs at 60 FPS in SW without any problems.

The specs (everything at stock):
i5-2500k
GTX 570 1280mb
8GB 1600 RAM

The funny thing is, before this patch, the recommended settings for graphics were around "Good". Now, it recommends the highest settings for every option.

thanks for helping me guys, i found out the reason for my low fps, and got help from blizz it turned that i had to do some game repairs etc. but last question for me since i dont need to upgrades parts atm, whats a good monitor for gaming... ?

Within reason, yeah. The monitor Omranx linked up earlier is fine for gaming.
