What are these lines on the ground?

I've noticed these lines on the ground here and in a cave in Lion's Arch. Is it just some graphics glitch?

Looks like a glitch to me. Possibly to do with texture tilesets, not sure how to fix it though, seems peculiar.

Looks like they forgot to remove the grid lock layer.

Hmm. It is actually all over Rata Sum. Just have to look really carefully in other areas and I can see the lines. Lines are on the snow covered bridge going into Hoelbrak too :/

Heh, yeah I've been getting weird glitches myself since I got the game. They're sparse, but they happen. Managed to find a part of Divinity's Reach where I can reproduce the errors: https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...05337534_o.jpg Even my character disappears.

Only game I have any problems in either. I can play BF3, Arkham City, et cetera, for hours, and notta single problem, load up GW2, and within 15 minutes I'm getting weird glitches.

they look a bit like an octogon crossed with a hexagon!

obviously the ground is made of repeated squares..... and someone was too lazy to make it look good.
