Hall of Records

I recently stumbled upon an article about the Great Sphinx of Giza and the, so called " Halls of Records" it's supposed to be guarding.
Most of the article is mumbo jumbo and assumptions unfortunately..This is because the Author and self proclaimed physic Edgar Cayce was the first lad to write about this chamber, or halls of Records if you will. He had apparently had contact with with Ancient squirrels who told him so
I'm not willing to jump onto the boat of belief and accept this article as fact or anything less than fiction, BUT, I do find it interesting.

What i found fascinating is that archaeologists have in fact found cavities beneath the Sphinx paw, and excavations has been done at and around the site as late as 2010. Unfortunately the excavation site have been flooded by groundwater and is no longer being worked at.
However, rumors are that mummies was found on the site and quickly removed from sight, which indicates they actually found a chamber of sorts down there. As usual when something interesting comes to surface, no official records has been made or any information about findings announced...

Does anyone know anything new about this that I'm unable to find or maybe someone local has heard rumors?
Any information would be appreciated, be it mumbo jumbo or a legit article.
