    The zone of Orr

So has anyone with a 70+ character ventured into this zone yet?

The first couple of levels were awesome, I was walking around with a giant group of people doing an entire chain of Dynamic Events.

I loved how everything was Dynamic and there were no hearts at all.

But now, turns out the level 70 story is bugged ( but you can get around that apparently ), the level 76 story is bugged, and exploring this zone is nearly impossible.

I've been trying to get 100% out of a zone before I go on to the next one.
With Orr, I left a level to early and at 50% explored.

Every time I try to go to a skill point, vista, or POI, there's a huge amount of monsters around ( insane amount of veteran mobs in the map too ) which will chill you, slow you, pull you back, or pull you underwater. Most of the time into even more mobs.

    ( I'm not underleveled, it's a 70-75 zone and I'm 74 atm )

And when you die, you have to spawn all the way back because 50% of the waypoints are contested.

I love GW2 so far, I loved all the zones I've been in, but this one ruined my day.

What are your experiences with this zone?

I truly love the idea of the zone however the event chain is always bugged on my server in 2 places (well one sometimes work, the part after rally is yet to work) The zones could be truly amazing and will hopefully push through all the events with my guild on monday

Yeah you can get around the 70 quest but its a pain in the ass. Still stuck on 76 quest.

They did an interview on the way Orr works with dynamic event 'chains' and 'webs', which sound incredibly complex, and thus easily broken. Sadly, I think this will be the ultimate test of guild wars, and if it doesn't work flawlessly... I don't know.

With more people on higher levels it will get better and the undead horde will meet their (un)maker.
My wife came to me and asked: "What have you done to the poor cat? She is half dead..."

I guess, but the fact that you have to group up to explore is just ridiculous isn't it?

I don't have this problem in Frostgorge sound at all, which is another 70-80 zone.

The orr zones are not meant for leveling they are the endgame zones where you push back the undead and if you forget about them for a while they will retake the towns.

If you want to level up to 80 the fastest use the 70-80 zone in the north.

Well, people were looking for endgame cooperative PvE activities. I guess this is what Orr is supposed to be

When the devs talked about end game in this video,

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IIExN1GZK_Q

they mentioned that there are 3 landings that need to be controlled to venture into Orr. One each by land, sea and air. They also said that it would take a massive amount of players to do Orr.

It sounds to me like Orr is this vast wasteland full of failed DEs that are somehow all interwoven together in a web of events. Once that initial push into Orr happens (control the 3 landings), then push in to control the Corrupted God Towers.

I don't think a handful of players can do it.

All these bugged events and bugs in the personal story are a real annoyance.

Yea the bugs in orr are really annoying, the main quest in straights is bugged right now. I only encountered 2 bugged events and had no bugs at all im my personal story before level 70, now that im past 70 there are bugs everywhere. Dont think they got this far with their testing...

They should really disable the 70 personal story until they fix it :\

Man, I'm bummed out enough just by getting stuck on my level 30 personal story step. This sounds rough! I think I'm gonna take my sweet time leveling the rest of the way...

Only one zone. That is all.

I've encountered many bugged events where the NPC would sit there for hours and not move, not just one zone either. There's quite a few bugged escort quests, it's annoying.

This. Also, graphical errors. The higher I get the more I encounter. Moving the camera a bit and BAM, nearly all models except for the floor and a few walls gone. Totally awesome. Or the camera spazzing out because of no reason, zooming in and out extremely fast until you move a bit.

Or the best bug, the camera getting stuck and not following you.

You report the bug, describe it and go do something else for a while

Except for the graphics bug, which I agree is annoying, I've noticed one event that was bugged. Escort, reported and moved on.
I'm past the starting zone and I'm still finding content, which makes it better then AoC in my book
