    Did I just die ?

Some of the events are quite challenging. You may actually die while doing them. Yea seriously. And I am loving how intense it can get.
I am so sick of games that are so easy "even a cave man can do it". I am not naming names to avoid this game vs that game thing, but you know who I am talking about.

Well, this game is "easy" in that it's easy to figure things out, but that doesn't mean you can't die, that's for sure.
I hope you haven't forgotten my role in this little story. I'm the leading man. You know what they say about the leading man? He never dies.

If you give in to your impulses in this world, the price is that it changes your personality in the real world. The player and character are one and the same.

Do you mean heroic Rag for example? I guess you didn't die there... Just an example =)

Well I'll be honest only ones I find challenging are the higher level ones, and the water ones (hit the target, aggro entire ocean, useless spells). The ones on land though in under level 50 are quite easy, and can be solo'd. I believe the number of mobs that spawn on things like escorts and defending a garrison depends on how many people are actually within the radius of the event. Dodge duck dip dive and dodge there, only way to die is by ranged, or if you're just way too level. But I agree, I do love it, it keeps me moving.

People actually die with mobs at the same level? I dont think Ive died to anything yet except mispulling packs of higher level mobs, which will kill you in any game. It is more challenging than your bog standard whack a mole but really? Not challenging at all.

I think every MMORPG should be 'I Wanna Be The Guy' with the controls from QWOP and enemies that shoot 5x more projectiles than enemies from Touhou/Toohoo (So nobody tries to correct me)

Should also have a hardcore mode.

Now I'm interested in how many people would actually play that.

Please avoid this kinds of topics mister underwolf, there's no real need on making them, it's just an advice.

you mean wow? ya i guess if you are one of those people who has to wait until 30% nerfs to kill something than i guess u can call the game easy.

1 shotting heroic rag pre-nerf must have felt really good for you!

It's akin to Dark Souls, if you know what to do you can go through without any deaths at all unless you make a mistake, if you don't know what to do you die a lot.

Dying in this game means nothing. Infact, it's completely inconsequential when you have to die twice and you can still be ressed on the spot or run back from a waypoint.
Sure you die. But you never, NEVER, fail an event unless you're alone against a champion. It's not challenging in the slightest, not to me anyway.

You can't even remotely compare this to Dark Souls. Failure on DS actually means something, it sets you back. It's a real challenge.

    Very true indeed

I've seen plenty of events fail. Get into a higher level zone that doesn't have a Zerg and watch events fail all around you. It's quite fun.

I like to play alt-tabbing, looking at mmo-champion/youtube, etc.
My deaths are 80% at main quest, Alt-tabbing like when i'm doing the heart quests in the map, but in the main-quest i always die when i do it, and i never stop -.-

Have failed about 20% of events I've participated in, actually, which is pretty close to their goal I think. And they largely weren't events where I was alone, it was just a hard event to succeed at.
