very likeable guy, i didnt even know he was having health problems, so the news surprised the hell out of me. dude looked indestructible, so it adds to the surprise value for me

I don't normally feel a great sense of loss when I hear about actors that have passed. But somehow with this one, it feels like John Coffey died a second time (and it was crushing to see him die the first). He was a great man and I'm sad to hear of his passing.

Damn, that's bad news. He was hardly the best actor, but he did have a pleasant charisma. He did very well in The Green Mile. 54 years old is too early to die.

He seemd like a real standup guy, i'm sad that he died.
I know it sounds bad...but...why is it always the cool actors that die as of late? Patrick swazye and now micheal duncan?!...comon why can't rosie o'donnel or kim kardasian kick the bucket.
