    Is this worth the price?

Hey MMO. I need a new computer which will be mainly for video editing/web design/3D design but mainly for gaming! Games I will play is, Guild wars 2. I know the computer is well eligible of running it but I'm just wondering about the price.

price looks abit steep for what you are getting, considered self building or ordering the parts and making a deal with a local tech shop? (should save you either +-200 or you can get even better parts :P)

check out the setup of the month (or wait for the next one :P) just mix and match the Narwhal and Unicorn builds if you want to tweak price for instance
This should yield you some noticeable differences in price or just plain better parts.

and else just post a request a build using the sticky thread and have mmo-c have a go at what we can come up with

PCPartPicker comes up with £970 total so you're paying only £40 extra for three year warranty, overclocking and assembly. It's really good price for a pre-built and well worth the money unless there's something in the setup you aren't happy with.

Bad things about the setup are really low end PSU and motherboard that might be limitations later, but considering it's already pre-overclocked you have nothing to worry about OC performance either.

I think you missed something important when going over parts list, maybe the 240GB SSD or something...

915 pounds in this case.... 600W kinda not required for such a setup.
I did notice however that the prices are allot higher because when i picked the same parts from a dutch site it would cost me 1100 euro's (using current exchange rate prebuilt from OP for 1007 pounds would cost 1268 euro, still a gap of 168 euro for same thing basicly)

If the OP likes the pre-built OC etc he has to think if he wants to pay for that or figure it out himself (which is allot of fun aswell with a new system imo)

Huge pile of crap compared to the first computer you linked.

This one has i7 CPU which has no benefit for gaming, slower RAM, slower HDD, slower graphics card... Everything's in it is wrong.

aye 2nd one isn't good at all compared to first one, maybe they just listed the wrong price for original build :P(since i found other pre-builts on that site with gtx 560 for the same price :O)
If you prefer to have all the assembly done for you just stick with the original one you found.

Two totally different sites/companies. The first one specializes in PC parts, while the second one is home appliances supermarket. Explains the difference in price and quality.
