Hey everyone!
I'm about to build a computer for the first time and I'd be very happy if you could help me out some!
I'm somewhat knowledgeable with computers but I'm by no means an expert, so please let me know if you'd swap any of the parts I've picked or if you have any comments or tips.
These are the parts I've picked so far:
Chassi: Cooler Master HAF X
Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77-V PRO - ATX / Z77
CPU: Intel Core i7-3770K - 8 threads / 3,5GHz (3,9GHz Turbo) / 8MB / Socket 1155 (Boxed) (Unlocked) (77w)
CPU Cooler: Noctua CPU-Kylare NH-D14 - Socket 1366 / 1156 / 1155 / AM2+
Graphics Card: ASUS GeForce GTX 680 2GB Direct CU II TOP OC (GTX680-DC2T-2GD5)
SSD: Samsung Internal SSD 128GB 830 SATA6G Basic Kit (SSD) (MZ-7PC128B/WW)
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 1TB (7200RPM / 32MB Cache / SATA II / NCQ) Retail
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3 PC3-12800 1600MHz (CMZ8GX3M2X1600C8B) (2x4GB)
Power Supply: Corsair PowerSupply (PSU) 850W HX
As you can see, it's based on Chaud's setup of the month with some slight changes.
As this is my first build, do you have any other tips when it comes to the assembling bit for example? Also, do I need to buy cords and stuff or are they included in the boxes?
Thank you
