yes i would push that button....its someone i dont know, people die everyday of almost every second.

the hardchoice i think would be is if you push the button someone close a family member or friend will die and you get $1,000,000.

in that scenario i would not push it.

I would definitely press the button. I could finally have a place of my own in a non-shitty city.

Yes, I'm selfish, you fucking mad?

On a side note, I saw this movie and it made almost no sense about halfway through.

No, I wouldn't press it. I have no real use for the money at the moment. I have everything I need right here.

This. People die everyday. It's part of life. Sure, you'd end one person's life prematurely, but how do you know the random person that gets killed isn't someone who is lying in a hospital bed slowly dying and in pain and agony?

I'd give you an inch, you'd take me a mile, your tail wagging happily all the while.

I'd probably press the button and then I could hate myself afterwards

    Most likely: No
Then again, I do not know how I behave in extremely dire circumstances, so you never know.
However, even if I push the button, I get a million bucks and am no longer in such circumstances (assuming the 1 mill is enough to get me out of my troubles) then I don't know if I could live with that action in my past.

As it stands now, I hope I never do it. I don't want to ever do it. If I had the chance to travel to the future right now to the point where I have decided to push the button (but haven't pushed yet) I'd take it, just to slap some sense into myself.
I don't ever want to have to live with such a gruesome selfish act.

    I wouldn't do it.

Yeah it could be some horrible rapist or murderer that it kills. On the flipside it could be some innocent little kid, or a hard working single father, or a humanitarian, or some genius that is on the verge of discovering a cure for AIDS or... well, you get the idea. No, not worth it.

I don't, but neither do you :P It could also kill a serial killer or rapist or something along those lines. It's a risk, yes, but unless it hits some guy who just solely discovered a cure for cancer but was unable to publish the results, then it's highly unlikely it won't matter anyways.

Nope, wouldn't be able to press the button. No way. Even though I didn't know him/her personally, I know all too well the suffering someone's loved ones go through when that someone dies. I wouldn't be able to stand the knowledge of having, in addition to remove any and all dreams and wishes that person may have had, forever scarred the people who loved him/her. Don't underestimate the pain of losing someone you love.
