Getting around an internet block on WoW?

So my college has a block on WoW (they blocked the port it uses or something, I'm not quite sure how it works) so that essentially if I open WoW it isn't given to access to the internet and I get the unable to connect, check your connection thing if I try to log in. I have hours of downtime between classes and would love to be able to play when I don't have homework to do.

Does anyone know of a way to get around the block they have put up? Someone once mentioned some type of software that makes it look like WoW is being opened as a different program or something like that so that it doesn't get blocked, but they didn't give me a name of the program. Is this even possible, or am I doomed to be bored?
