Missing BM buff: Spell haste

Why our pets doesn't have spell haste buff? Is it intended? Our pets can cover all missing buffs excepte spell haste and attack power. But our aura gives attack power. So spell haste is only thing we can't provide.

Is it going to be "fixed" in upcoming patches? Or in MoP?

And two our pets give same buff to melee and ranged attack speed (Hyenas with Cackling Howl and Serpents with Serpent's Swiftness). Or maybe one of them gives spell haste and it's only tooltip bug? Or maybe one of them will be changed to spell haste?

I think Sporebats give spell haste although it is called Mind Quickening.

What for? Sporebot doesn't give spell haste buff. It gives spell haste DEBUFF.

Just go and tame one. It will give you "Mind Quickening" buff.

Spore Bats give the spriest version of the spellhaste buff, most likely only because they didn't bother making a new spell for them(for now). GC even tweeted about it.

Most databases aren't quite up-to-date with the latest minor changes to everything and this is one of those cases

I'm in work, can't do this right now. My knowledge is based on mmo raid comp, wowhead and wow petopia. I'll will definitly tame one in afternoon and check that.

Have you actually checked? Clearly no... I just tamed a sporebat last night, it has mind quickening, same as what the shadow priest provides. Probably because they put it in at the last moment and just copy pasted the spriest version.

It was just added in the last build I believe. They are still using the shadowform spell so it's more than likely a place holder.

i just tamed a sporebat like 10 secs ago, it does indeed have Mind Quickening as a passive. (increases shadow damage by 5%, decreases all damage done to you by 15% and gives all party/raid members 5% spell haste) at least according to the ingame tool-tip.

edit: due to a new raid comp i was gonna have to do this anyways, but since this post came up i thought now was a good time.. lol
