What does Chalice of Glory and Tome of Influence do?

Glory is your sort of sPvP level I think, using the chalice gives you a small boost (not sure how much). Influence is used for guilds to buy upgrades, vaults, upgrade guild forts in wvwvw, karma boosts etc etc and the tome gives your current guild a 1000 Influence boost.
