Tame Beast with Five Pets?

Haven't had a chance to test this since I thought about it this morning (yay for working on Saturday): what happens post-5.0.4 if you have five pets with you and you try to tame another? Do you get an error, do you tame the new pet and send it directly to the stable, or ... something else?

As of today you try taming it but it stops and says you have too many pets already.
Stable 1 and come back
