Does anyone else have sound issues after viewing a vista? Staff elementalist (if anyone wants to test) and after after viewing a vista my spells are muted until I either see a loading screen or get into combat (casting spells at the ground doesn't solve, I actually have to cast and hit something).

Hmm, the only issues I get with Vistas is that when I press "F" to view, the game just stands there, minus, the UI for about 20 sec. I think this is caused by "running" into the vista and rapidly pressing F. I suggest you do what I did in my situation, which is just submit a bug report. :S

Try lowering audio quality. Sound is buggy.
