    Graz I had no luck with exciting drops so far...
    Is it just a random mob drop or chest etc?

    You can buy pets on the AH for as low as 6-8 silver. Just search for "Mini" in the advanced search.

    I had 2 gold that was going to go to Siege Weapons in WvW once the two week games start... but there goes that theory.
