The thing is - Japanese gamers LIKE grindfests. To make WoW popular there, especially now, would require making the game completely different than it is now.
Furries start out wanting to be an animal because it sounds like an exciting, romantic, magical thing to be, like in fairytales. But then they end up wanting to be a ferocious wild animal so they could tear the faces off all the people who laughed at them for wanting to be an animal. This is why so many furries identify themselves as wolves, foxes, tigers, or dragons.

Thank god for the bug fixes in this patch. Just the battleground thumbs down fix alone is huge.

I'm thinking it's just they didn't want to bother with the animation and all that, and the inaccessibility is just a lame excuse.
There's gameplay paradoxes, like the dissonance between TBC and Wrath with the post-Cata timeline, which are unavoidable and not acknowledged in-game, and there's lore paradoxes, like what you're suggesting, which are, in fact, the sort of "lame excuse" you are thinking are the reason why they do not exist.

Some good fixes. The graphic in Well of Eternity was ultra-annoying, as was the profession recipes bug.

Not sure what the RAF summon bug was, as it worked fine for me when leveling a couple of DKs last night through Outland on a new server.

not sure if someone already posted a comment on it, but for those that asked about their volcanic stone drake like i did, i found it actually automatically went into the mount journal! instead of coming in the mail and having to learn it. enjoy!

Same goes for druids not being able to be monks, most likely reason being they didn't want to design new bear/cat/moonkin forms

I welcome the OP of it all, since I am a Rogue needing to replace my Legendary Daggers with something that is also Legendary…

The question I have, are they going to adjust the "Unique-Equipped" on the Legendary Gems, or will I have to have one Agility & one Strength gem…?!?

Druids shapeshifting into monks would probably be slightly overpowered...

"Being able to Charge to a mage who Blinks and Charge again is huge. "
Well, try to charge when you are in freeze. It just doesn't work against mages
