Are you enjoying the endgame?

I started off loving the game but when i hit 80 i managed to craft full exotics,farmed ful cof gear all in a couple of weeks. I then went onto to helping my friends out where i could but this soon came to a stop as they didnt want to log no more. So onto the next part WvW,joined a WvW guild and found it to be just a zerg fest with no real structure so was dissapointed with this aspect of the game aswell.
All in all it just seemed that the majority of ppl wanted to either run cof or Zerg WvW dont get wrong i love the other dungeons but not many ppl seemed to want them as much as CoF. So now at this point im playing on my own and got bored quite fast decided to try MoP after swearing i wouldnt be buying it and so far im enjoying WoW once more.
I also like Gw2 alot but end game for me personally just isnt where it needs to be atm i hope it will get there within time and time is what it needs imo.

This sounds more like a, "I enjoy the endgame but no one im friends with plays the game and i get bored." sort of scenario... i'd suggest just making some new friends, if you wanna come to sanctum of ral you can join my guild (if you want) and we could do stuff from there...

PS: I wasn't a fan of the zerg fest in WvW either so whenever i go there i go around in like a 2-5 man strike force and just take down supply camps and jump into the zerg every now and then for a keep before breaking off again.

So how many of you all bought an I-phone 5 or plan on getting one or wished you had the money to buy one? Most of you I would expect. People like new things!! it's really just that simple. That GW 2 ignores this is exactly what is wrong with the game.

I still have a Nokia 3310, does fine for me but i guess i should update it sometime.

OP: I tend to agree with you on one point: I log in less now. I am not disappointed I bought GW2; I adore it and it has been well worth the money I spent. I think I am having to relearn how to MMO, though; endgame shouldn't mean chasing a carrot. I knew it was a PVP game right from the get go. WuvWuv attracted me because I missed long AV battles in WoW. It uh. Needs work, though.

Did I really get so carrot-retarded playing WoW for so long that I forgot how to have fun in an MMO? Maybe.

Off topic, I wish all the big MMO guns would just make a monopoly and all implement their best aspects into one super MMO; I'd pay 30 a month for that, EASILY. Gogo, developers! CREATE THE MMO MEGAZORD! :3

Yeah, Strike Force, caravan escort, solo capper, scout, that moron that runs into a 1v8 or 1v10 just to hold a point from capping over just as long as you can. I have a lot of fun in WvW, playing away from the zerg. And as long as I'm relaying information back to my Commanders (Tarnished Coast has some decent ones) they generally respect the work I do more than just one more body in the masses that doesn't make that much of a difference.

That said, mini-zerg vs. mini-zerg skirmishes, being on the front lines as a melee is amusing. Especially with all the "omg cant be melee in this game" drama I remember. Get in, even past the front lines of their defenders. Shred, gtfo. Knowing when to harass, when to strike, when to pop defensives, and when that's just not going to be enough, that thrill is pretty awesome. Shame Mesmers don't have a decent movement speed to stay at the front without equipping Focus (which doesn't work with my build).

Yeah... mesmers did really lack that as did another prof i can't remember that i was trying to melee on... i remember everyone else would just fly by me and i'd just be like "Guuuuuuuuyz! wait up!!" WvW though is really fun in small groups, i hate being another mindless member of the zerg, i will normally join the zerg only briefly if i do before breaking off after we shatter through a keep or two so i can go capture that supply camp/befriend that village i was originally trying to get to in the first place.

Gah now that's going to bug me that i don't remember the prof... way to go kel!! Jerk...

PS: Nothing is more fun then putting 4 turrets down on the ramparts of a keep while you sit there with a mortar and kill the stupid zergs...

Personally i wanna get Frenzy... yes i know it's an underwater weapon... but it looks so sexy!! And i'd be one of the only people to even pursue it!
