Made my own peace with this fact a few years ago. Now don't take this the wrong way, I mean I'm pretty good looking and dates have happened but I could never get to actually care for someone and well none of the dates cared for me either so no harm done. My impressions were from "meh" to "why am I going out with this girl, again ?".

Am pretty happy about this. I mean I can't say for certain that I would never like someone, but I also can't say I'm sad about it. I mean I grew up alone, whatever friends I had back then have long since moved away and lost contact with. I'm not exactly a people person nor addicted to society, so you could say I'm pretty used to this.

What are your stories ?

I consider myself forever alone too, but by choice of course. I'm not very interested in making friends because I'm kinda afraid of having friends, I don't like to hurt people and I'm afraid that people will somehow hurt me, so I just close myself to everyone. Obviously I hope this "behaviour" will soon change when I get a job or when I go to University.

Worst thing is, about the love part, is that I would probably screw up because I would never date someone without knowing them, not out of the blue.

But I'm like this because when I was a kid, my best friend, like, "betrayed" and I felt really bad about it and now I'm just scared to meet new people, not scared of talking to them, just scared/not interested.

I have no trouble finding one nighters, but its impossible for me to have a relationship.

No woman wants me because I cant be with her for a longer period of time. I constantly switch between countries for longer than a year due to work or education.

Its killing me. It really is... but if I ever want to earn more than just the average income I have to endure it. I guess my life will stabilize somewhere in my 30's... Too bad I wont have any relationship experience until then.

For now, yes. I'm surrounded by a diverse group of friends that I have no romantic interest in, although several of them I would consider attractive. I know that I'm young, and that I'll run into someone when I'm older eventually; and I'm looking forward to that day.

I'm probably not ugly but the thing that has caused my perceived ugliness is probably the fact that the closest thing I've had to relationships ended terribly causing a poor confidence, only with dealing with girls, thus leading to thinking I'm ugly, because since then I have not even had a date.
