Troll VS Panda for Elemental.....

As long as you don't die during an encounter Pandarean will be better then the rest, but if you do happen to die, then it throws that whole powerful bonus out the window.

In my opinion it will be the strongest racial in the game, but its HUGE price of being negated completely. (Let alone if you forget to food buff)

Im currently Goblin and i like the 1% static haste with the added bonus of rocket jump,

i play in a top 50 world guild and want to min max but i enjoy being goblin i was tempted to switch the panda but the whole downside of if you die there goes the advantage so i might swap mid progression when gear is a bit better and 1% haste isnt huge.

Another choice like the thread says its Troll som1 brought up a good point the fact beserking sinks with Ascendance so well and with Echo being the best tier talent over EM on most fights bar the required burst ones with dmg multiplier i can see troll being so strong having the power to use beserking with Ascendance.

Beserking + Ascendance could also line up with glyph of fire elemental if you were using it.

Currently troll and im giving it some hard thought. Not to mention i have alchemy maxed(the bonus time) and then the food buff from panda. Decisions decisions.

By the way it may have been answered already but can we race change at launch? I dont think i can take staring at my feet any longer as troll but the decision is so hard for me to make

As someone said earlier berserking is excellent combined with our mastery,trinkets, procs, and "oh ----" moments. Sigh

Does anyone know if you Fire/Earth Elemental's gain the 5% damage bonus as an Orc when choose the Primal Elementalist talent?

OT: Both racials seem pretty useful, if you'd like to see some nice new animations though I'd go with a panda

Horde
Troll >= Orc > Pandaren > Goblin > Tauren

Notes

Pandaren bonuses only last while you have a food buff present.
Troll & Orc are fairly interchangeable. Orcs will gain more from a talent like Primal Elementalist.
The difference between racial bonuses is fairly minor, in the ~0.3% range.

I'm currently orc atm, but from this information I might go troll for tier 14, then most likely switch back to orc as haste values in tier 15 will most likely push lava burst under the 1 second cast time with beserking.

If I go back to Horde I would go Orc, because the racial goes better on fights with burst (EM + Ascendance + Orc racial would be better than EM + Ascendance + Troll Racial cos of haste capping). Due to the fact they are almost even in straight DPS fights, because of this burst niche I pick Orcs.

Plus trolls look like ass

it was nerfed to 2% damage bonus.

With pain in my heart I just race changed from goblin to orc. Blood fury and stun reduction are just too good to pass on in pvp.

Thank you all for the info and time. I switched from Goblin to Troll when I joined a new guild and I dont heal anymore. I may switch after my gear is where Berserking wont be such a big deal anymore. If you pick PE does that change how your elementals are classified? Theyre guardians now will that talent make them pets?

I think it was mentioned before, but I thought it would be worth repeating: the pandaren food buff is worth absolutely nothing in rated PvP (either rated BGs or arenas) as you can't even use food buffs.
This, added to the fact that the goblin racials add so much convenience, and because of the intangible benefits of rocket jump, I am staying goblin.

I will racechange to a panda mainly because of the food buff but also cause dwarf female are ugly as hell. Only changed to it to arch faster
