I agree and I'm still amazed how my computer which I bought when WoW was released can play GW2 perfectly fine with only one slight upgrade back in 2008.
The game is optimised so well and they didn't forget the people who haven't upgraded their pcs yet.

haha nice assessment. a b2p game with cash shop and they are saying that they will provide content for "free"! right! they initially provided content that have already been burned out by several guilds. if they don't release more content soon, this game will be dead even before it's legacy begins.

Must admit I am really impressed with both the game and the company. Having such a blast in game, both at 80 doing dungeons / pvp with my warrior and also whilst leveling my elementalist. The dynamic events are such fun and take away all the linear grind associated with questing in previous titles, and as for the world bosses, well they blow away most raid bosses in terms of enjoyment, tactics and pure epic scale.

Very well done Arena Net, glad to see there is more to come

To be honest i don't even know what to reply, you seriously caught me off-guard.

Did every other MMO state they're not going to include grinding in their games? No, they didn't.

GW2 has got as much of that crap as any other MMO out there, if not more. Just look at that spvp, how many thousands of thousands of games you need to participate in just to get that top glory rank? How much mat grinding you need to do in order to max out crafting?

And why'd you say it's shit? I haven't played a whole lot, just a few hours on my friend's account as a Norn hunter, I thought it was good. And I played a lot of previous GW game. It's not the perfect MMO for sure, but that hardly makes it a shit game.
