    help needed to do with ram

    if i buy Corsair 16GB (4x4gb) 1600MHz Vengeance Blue Memory would i be able to get another 2 sticks of the same ram and add them to my motherboard as i have 6 slots and it supports 24gb? would it work right?
    im new to anything to do with upgrading my computer so any help appreciated.

    If you'd tell us the model of your motherboard it would be easily checked. But generally it sounds plausible.

    Yes it should work. As far as I'm aware though that board doesn't natively support 1600MHz speed so you'd have to manually set it to that speed in the BIOS or it might run at a lower speed (1333).

    If you want to fill all 6 slots, you'll want to buy triple channel kits since you should be installing them in sets of 3. What you've described will/can work, but it's a horrible way to go about it.

    Your memory support is:
    Support for DDR3 2200/1333/1066/800 MHz memory modules

    Keep it simple, and go with whats supported. Something like:

    Four DIMMs will still run in triple channel mode. Buying four now and two later is just fine. Buy the 1600 MHz DIMMs anyway, because if you're overclocking it will give you more headroom.
