Lava Burst and Chain lightning.
I really hate thunderstorm, it fucking never works. Half of the time it will do damage and the player won't move an inch and the other half of the time player has already managed to lag around to a spot that won't kill him from thunderstorm.

I have loved my Shaman ever since I made a Tauren one in Vanilla. Never geot passed levle 40 with that one but it was immense fun to 1 hit mobs with a 2 hander, and also, to absolutely dominate WSG. It was early in the games history and not many people knew you could dispel ghost wolf. So when I hit level 20, it was all about the WSG, and I would personally ensure our victory by running 3 flags within 10 minutes. The converse was true, and when I was leveling a priest, it was amusing to dispel a GW shaman who was flag running, and watch him stand there thinking wtf had gone on!
After that, when I made my blueberry and changed mains, I loved their versatility, and I enjoyed playing a support class. When that role became obsolete, it was all about harnessing the fury of the elements and embuing myself with their rage. I also enjoy the Draenei male casting animations and wasn't really wanting to level another mage![]()
WoW PvP; Where DPS are healers, tanks are DPS, and healers are tanks!
RETH RETH RETH!
I've always been drawn to the battle mage style classes and enhance fits this better than any other class. I love the flexibility with being able to use heals or lightning bolts and I love the elemental warrior aspect. For elemental its fun being like a machine gun and just throwing around tons of lightning bolts and lava bursts. Plus I love the different play style with each spec, want to deal damage you can either be a caster or be a melee, tired of DPSing? Heal for a bit. If shamans ever get a tanking spec I don't think I will ever play another class. Also lightning is my favorite "primitive" or natural element (I am kind of obsessed with it) so being able to throw around so much lightning is bad ass in my book.

I love my shaman because she's my only goblin. There's something oddly fun and awesome about having this tiny ball of hate that just disappears in a whirlwind of attacks when windfuries and other effects start proccing.

Come on now, just last weekend I had tremendous fun with thunderstorm in molten front, knocking back alliance players just when they were about to die and thought they could reach sanctuary (since CRZ turned the whole molten front into a massive pvp-zone).
I love my Shaman because Windfury is so badass! Also because it is so fun to play resto in bg's and be like "oh i am 4 million ahead of the second best healer"

I absolutely adore my Shaman, and my Ele/Resto Draenei is without a doubt my chosen main for MoP. The main reason for this is that Shaman feels to be the most complete and self sufficient class, and they have a lot of utility to offer. I mainly play as Elemental, and I really like the fact that I can throw in the occasional heal to help the group out, like a Healing Rain or a HST. Elementals are fun, totems offer interesting effects and buffs, Heroism is an awesome raid cooldown - and Ascendance is one of the coolest personal dps cooldowns ever!
I was Resto for the majority of Wrath, and I really like the Shaman twist on healing - feels very unique compared to other healer classes.
Also, it's funny how a relatively simple change can have major consequences.. Paraphrased from the 5.0.4 patch notes: "The cooldown on Chain Lightning has been removed". This has been HUGE for me, especially on trash packs in 5-mans. A typical trash pull involves me dropping a Magma Totem at my feet and then using a Totemic Projection to drop that thing right in the middle of the pack. Follow up with FS on the main target, LvB on cooldown - and beyond that I am spamming (glyphed) Chain Lightning like crazy! Combined with procs from Elemental Overload and Echo of the Elements, I basically feel like a mobile elemental gatling turret. It is SO much fun, and I've never really enjoyed Elemental quite as much as I do now.
I got my enhancement to level 80 and never played it again, but then i found this video:

Respec to elemental and now is my main on Pandaria.
Any one remember the Tauren and Shaman units in WC3? Oh god, how many bases I destroyed with that sweet Combo.
That is why I have rolled a Tauren Shaman. Everytime I pop Bloodlust, I feel awesome and get a fangasm.
Shaman - DeathKnight - Druid - Monk - Hunter - Priest - Paladin
Enhancement PVP is the shit or at least it was in Cata, Stormstrike or Lava Lash 1 shots hells yes. I can pretty much roll any class with my shammy in PVP.
I switched from a resto druid to an Elemental Shaman in early wotlk, because we needed Heroism. Never went back. And i honestly don't know why i stick with a Shaman, perhaps because it's the less played class in my guild since BC, even by alts. And obviously i love the feeling of dps'ing with the elements![]()
I play the same shaman since Vanilia, when my big dream was to be able to dps like a warrior but with my shaman, big 2hand axe, crushing faces left and right. I love the freedom of being able to heal myself, to kite, to run away, to charge in, to kill things as enhance shaman, wouldn't trade for anything else.
Time is on our side

The Utility.
Been doing 5-mans quite alot, and when i sat out some dungeon runs, both the healer and tank felt it. They said after the second run they preferred having me along with them. The healer just laughed when i popped my ancestral healing, and said he could go completely afk when i had it up. Tank said he noticed he was taking more damage when i wasn´t there, due to all the interrupts i did, and the stun from Capacitor totem. Not to mention the few near-wipes i´ve saved when tank has died with earthgrab totem and Capacitor totem + Spiritwalker's grace and CL spam/healing spam.
