How can I connect a laptop with a broken screen to another laptop?

I recently broke my laptops screen and it's just black now. I have VGA cord to connect laptops to monitors but I don't have an available monitor. Is there a way to use the working laptops screen when it's connected to my broken laptop?

No. The video ports on notebooks is a VGA out, not a VGA in.
Meaning other notebooks wouldn't be able to be used as ins.
If it's data you're after, I'd open the notebook up and remove the hard drive. This is usually not too difficult and should not void most companies warranties. If it does, do not do this and do send it in on warranty though.
