But I guess we will see in MoP
The most important thing to remember is that the "haste>crit(to cap)>mastery" paradigm is based on level 90 talents. The concept of "stack haste above else!" isn't necessarily much better than stacking mastery then haste without that sweet, sweet buff we can't access yet.

At 85, with 400+ ilevel, it is easy to cap hit and crit and having enough haste to take the IV glyph as a must have.

For me, with my 7k+ intellect, the shatter cap is around 1811.

When Frost Armor was still at 5% haste, the difference between molten and frost armor was 20 points with my goblin. Now, I won't lose time to calculate it.

Okay awesome! Thx for answering this simple question, I haven't looked into gearpieces to much.

On my "bad" mage I have 1066 crit and 6493 int, this together with molten armor, arcane brilliance and 5% stats gives me 28% crit. Without molten armor I can only get to 26% crit while staying hitcaped.

Edit: How did you calculate the exact rating Kuni?

Shatter cap was a bigger deal when it was Crit * 3. Now that it's Crit * 2 + 50%, it's much less important. Frost is currently Haste>Crit=Mastery

But your damage depends on critting, because otherwise the spells are quite weak, at least that's what I got from testing at 85. Also, I get a really low amount of procs from Frostbolt so I value crit a lot more than haste. Most charges come from Pet Freeze and Frozen Orb, not Frostbolt.

This nice little app was made by Zumzumzum. I've had it in my guide since v2. Don't forget to include will's proc, as it's up the entire fight.

Nice app. Is that accurate for 5.0.5? Also, don't forget to add the Wizardry bonus to will's proc. Do you know if the INT shown in the armory includes Wizardy?

Oh, using that app from Kuni opened a whole lot of questions for me. E.g. how does Wizardry and Blessing of Kings combine? They stack? I mean, if you have 100 INT and you have both buffs, do you get 110 INT or 110.25 INT?

So our total INT calculation, raid buffed is:
    ( BASE_INT + 90(Food) + 300(Flask) + WillOfUnbinding ) x 1.05 (Wizardry) x 1.05 (Kings/MOTW)

It automatically applies raid buffs, it just wants the unbuffed int. Since it doesn't account for Will, you'll have to account for it with just the 5% wizardry.
