Optimizing/Upgrade help

Hello,

I've been looking to optimize/upgrade my computer. At the moment I can play most games on medium to high settings. I would like to play WoW on ultra settings with a steady 60fps. And be able to play most other games on high settings (GW2, Darksiders II etc.)

This is my computer now:

AMD PHENOM II X4 965 3,4 GHZ
GIGABYTE GA-MA770T-UD3
8 GB RAM
AMD Radeon HD 6870
1 TB HDD
60 GB SSD x2
650 Watt power
Resolution: 1920x1080

I have windows 7 64-bit on one SSD and my most played games on the other. I use the HDD for storage.

CPU is mostly what is holding you back. The GPU is adequate for ultra wow and high everything else. Sandy/Ivy is the direction I would take your rig if you are dead set on an upgrade. That being said, you have a fairly relevant and capable rig already. There aren't any computers that can sustain 60 fps at ultra details in a raiding scenario, but many that can do it on high. You will notice an improvement by going for sandy/ivy, but nothing drastic.
