Is SWOTR dead?

I quit playing 1 month after initial release, as the game was unfinished and pretty much unplayable. Since then i read that a lot of players stopped playing.

So the question to people who still play it: is it pretty much dead? Or did they fixed all the major bugs and problems?
How is SWTOR doing nowadays? Is it worth returning?
