New cloth at skill level 500

Can we use the new cloth at 500 or do we need to be 525. Currently leveling tailoring and need to know if i can hold back on the embersilk thread

Unless they ninja-nerf the droprate, windwool is stupidly easy to get and drops in stacks and stacks. Definitely switch to the new cloth.
