Shadow priest CD?

Ive been playin a priest for some time now as disc, but goning shadow for mop, but i really dont like the lack of CDs we got in this spec, it makes me sad to see warlock, warrior, even boomkins got atlest 2 ;( were is mine?

also what kind of CD what you guys like 2 have if we got one?

Devouring Plague is a pseudo cd. Also have shadowfiend/mindbender and power infusion.

the only one of those spells i see as a cd is PI, DP is awesome yes but not a cd..

Mindbender / Shadowfiend's damage is not trivial. It is our base CD.

Shadowfiend actually hits really hard now. Don't underestimate it. But yeah, we have a lack of CDs. However, we're still balanced quite well in overall dps so our sustained damage is quite good even without cd's, whereas most other classes really need to utilise their cd's to get similar dps.

EDIT to say if it's burst you're after don't make the mistake most Spriests make and take the Mindbender talent. The Mindbender pet does LESS damage than the standard Shadowfiend per execute. The strength of the talent comes from the much shorter cooldown on Mindbender.

As I recall it it was 80% of normal shadow fiend damage.

Agreed that we don't have a cooldown, and in a similar thread we've discussed about what should we get.

I know for sure it was 66% before the most recent buff, so yeah you're probably right it would be 80% now since mindbender was buffed by 20%. 0.66 x 1.2 = 0.79

GC said himself in a tweet that the reason Spriests had no CD was essentially to give the class some diversity, or rather give all classes in general some diversity i.e. not all classes need a CD to achieve comparable DPS. In fairness our regular rotation for sustained damage seems to pull ahead of other classes which is then balanced out when other classes pop a CD. The ToF talent is excellent if you can utilise it, which is very possible with most boss fights having some kind of add.
