Arms or Fury for start of raiding.

Which spec will be doing the best once we step foot into raiding for 5.0. I know fury will be doing the best in BiS.

I won't need to offspec tank in the beginning, so I will run both. I think arms may still have an edge in cleave encounters and there are a few of them.

I'm mainspec Prot so I don't have the luxury of having Arms and Fury OS. Which would you recommend I run with as my offspec for the solo tank fights (I think there's only one or maybe two of them, and seemingly none in Mogu'shan Vaults, so I'm not too worried)?

I would say get a good 2h and go arms OS. You will only need one good weapon and still have good damage

Yeah what the guy above me said. Cba to look it up but im also quite sure that arms overshines fury in the first tier ( fury are SO crit dependant )

And yeah it's alot easier and cheaper to just get one good weapons instead of two.

I'm MS prot with a dk tank and another dk dps in the maingroup so it will take me forever to get 2 nice weapons

Its hard to say this far ahead what spec to pick. When raiding starts, get all your available gear and sit in front of a target dummy for a little while and see what spec produces best given the gear you have. Thats what I plan to do anyhow. If I have the gear that allows fury to be better, I'll be fury. If I have gear that produces better as arms, thats what I'll be. As my gear changes, I'll continually re-evaluate my spec.
