For frost pvp he reckons its best to use blood tap and make a macro on frost strike and just forget about it while its also better than runic corruption. Atm im using runic corruption and im not really keeping track of anything really. Is this blood tap macro better to use?

blood tap for both unholy and frost all the way. Macro (as frost) on ur necrotic strike and frost strike. As unholy macro on death coil and necrotic strike. Or dont macro anything and learn to micromanage.

It will be like a more predictable RE if you macro BT in to FS... you'd always get a Death Rune every 3rd and 5th FS

Putting the macro on FS and NS would be redundant though, no?

You should also be able to burst more reliably with Blood Tap during the time you are on your target.

I wouldn't macro it to be honest. Maybe to Strangulate (just because that's how I played all 4 seasons I've got glad on my dk). Especially not to a generator. I could see necrotic strike because normally you want to spam 2-4 necrotics in a row, having blood tap on there would probably put them to use. Blood tap on a generator could just cause it to be entirely wasted (especially death coil as unholy).

In the end though, I might have it on Strangulate, but I've gotten very comfortable with how it works now and prefer it over the other talents. Much more control. Sure it's awesome as unholy to have massive rune generation due to RNG, but control is best when used properly.

This. I'm probably only going to macro it into Strangulate and Pillar of Frost when I play Frost.

After playing with Blood Tap for some time, I can't go back to those RNG talents anymore.

Macroing Blood Tap to Runic power abilities basically makes it function exactly like RE, except you don't lose procs by having full runes.

Blood Tap also gives Death Runes, which is instantly awesome for pvp due to necro strike.
