Upgrading my HDD to a 2TB one, any suggestion?

    Greetings fellow MMO'ers!

Right now I'm using an SSD for the OS and an HDD of which I'm using 497/500GB for games and films , so I decided to upgrade my HDD and now I have a little doubt.
I was looking for something with quite a lot of space, so that I won't need to worry about getting any more storage for a long time.
Looking around I decided to get a 2 TB Seagate Barracuda HDD (7200rpm, 64mb cache) but when I checked for the ratings I noticed it was not very well criticized: (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822148834)

I usually don't care too much about reviews but the HDD is probably going to be the most "delicate" part of my build since it will store my datas, so I thought you guys could help me out.
So, the question is: Is the HDD I linked you a valid option? I heard the "green" version of it should be more reliable, but it's a 5900rpm though (yet my OS is on a SSD)

I know many people suggest the 1TB Caviar Black, but here in Italy taxes are insane, and I'd rather not to spend more money on half the storage if possible.

My first suggestion would be the Samsung 2TB Spinpoint F4 Eco Green: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822152245
They are incredibly fast for an 5400rpm drive and very reliable. Not to mention very quiet.

The next best would be the Seagate counterpart: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822148681

Don't worry about speed with those hdds.
    1) you have your SSD
    2) the bigger the hdd, the faster it actually is. those 5400/5900rpm drives above can nearly equal an average 1TB 7200rpm model in speed.

    P.S.
Personally i would advise against WDs caviar green series. They are way slower than those two models above.
Why do something simple, when there is a complicated way?
    Ryzen 7 2700X | BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 4 | 16GB DDR4-3200 | MSI X470 Gaming Pro | MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X 8G | 500GB / 750GB Crucial SSD
Fractal Define C | LG 32UK550 | Das Model S Professional Silent | CM Storm Xornet

No they definitely cannot match a 7200rpm drive, unless your took a huge 5400rpm drive and short stroked the hell out of it making it like a 500gb HDD. Id also mention a green drive will never match a 7200rpm drive. Plain and simple HDD's are limited by the speed the disk spins at, 10,000 rpm drives are not beaten in speed and performance by larger 7200rpm drives your entire post was false.

@op Seagate is not a "bad" company but they had some horrid supply of barracudas both 1tb and 2tb escape the factory on a very large scale. Insanely high failure rates etc, try to stand clear of them for another year as we cant be sure on the stock situation.
