Shadow Focus and Vanish

The talent Shadow Focus doesn't seem to work when you have the Vanish buff, only when you have the Stealth buff. This makes it so it's pretty much useless. When you Vanish during combat, you'll miss out on auto attacks waiting for the Vanish buff to change into the Stealth one, as you won't get a free Attack otherwise. Anyone found a solution to this?

Probably put /startattack in a macro and keep spamming abilities. All of my abilities have /startattack macroed in so I've never noticed this.

You most certainly do get the shadow focus buff during the vanish buff. It's subterfuge that you don't get with vanish.

Pretty sure I was getting my vanish -> ambush for free the other night?

Just Muti times three so your energy is depleted > Vanish > Mutilate, you'll see that you can't use any attack to do insuficient energy.

EDIT: Vanish > Ambush does work. Vanish > Mutilate doesn't.

Presumably shadow focus only works on openers? Odd.

Anyway, I'm fine with that, it provides a reason to use ambush, lol.

I use this macro to use the shadow focus Ambush during Vanish
This macro also gets rid of the bar lag switch for going to stealth mode.
