Now I ask you. Why on earth would Blizzard mention of Paladins, Demon Hunters and Ghosts? To tease people? When you consider, Paladin is THE missing class in Diablo3 as well as Demon Hunter in WoW. People HAVE been looking for these classes in these 2 games for a long time. I believe there is much more than just a tease here.

Honestly, i will be shocked if demon hunter isn't next class.

We have enough plate classes, just because only one is wearing the int gear doesn't mean we need a new class. Tbh it makes up a small amount of all the plate gear out there anyways.

We have one plate intellect class who has gear tailored specially for them because no other class can use their armor.

If Demon Hunters come to be they'll be ANOTHER agility user most likely and throw off loot balance more so.

Or, it could just be a reference to WoW (Paladin), Diablo III (Demon Hunter) and StarCraft (Ghost)... Which it is. This is not a tease. There is no hidden meaning.

I don't know what will happen in Expansion 5, but I hope we get a new "continent". One of the things I disliked the most about Cataclysm was how shattered it was. Zones were spread out and most of the expansion was spent in Orgrimmar.

I agree. There are no Paladins in D3, and we have a definitve SC reference, so that's a more sensible explanation.

Blizzcon is for all blizz's games, including Diablo and Starcraft.

So they're referring to players from all three games, WoW, Diablo and SC.

Paladins from wow
DH's from Diablo
And finaly Ghosts from SC.

If there is another class, my money is on the Tinker as a pure DPS. It's the only true unique class left, could possibly used ranged weapons, wear int plate, and introduce more unique mechanics.

They usually use mechanical and robotic enhancements, and derive their power through that. Such devices require a power source, and Tinkers are supposed to all be pretty smart, so Intellect would be a good choice as a primary stat. You could kind of derive that higher intelligence/intellect would lead to better working and more powerful gadgets. Spirit could be their source of hit.
Since they are already covering themselves with heavy devices, it would make sense for them to use plate, and probably work on it to make it robotic.

They would be able to be either a melee, with more emphasis on bionic arms that can hurt things, or more power for their ranged weapons. Since the only equippable ranged weapon that would make sense would be guns, and the fact that they're agi, it would probably be best to not have them equip guns. You could have class buffs that change which auto attack weapon you use, even.

A melee spec would involve a 1H caster weapon, depending on equal distribution of weapon types to classes, being used to bash opponents. The other arm would have another melee device, like a razor saw, and would be used in special attacks. The offhand would need to be put elsewhere on the body. Maybe hanging off the belt.

A ranged spec would use a robotic arm coming from the shoulder to fire a weapon. This weapon can be set by the user to fire different kinds of rounds (with a penalty for changing). Possibly a choice between physical armor penetrating, nature (lightning gun), or arcane (laser) shots. Certain abilities could increase rate of fire of this weapon, either in plain rapid fire, or bursts instead of single shots.
On the offhand arm, instead of a special melee weapon, they would have a special ranged one. A minigun (with animation similar to that scene on The Matrix) or a beam weapon would do nicely.

Another spec could be an explosives specialist, possibly, that doesn't have an auto shoot. Complete with grenade launcher, shoulder-mounted rocket launcher, and an expert with mines. Oh, and for the sake of gamer references, a rocket jump ability (jumping and firing a rocket launcher at your feet, sending you flying to where you want to go)

For common elements:
- Shared cooldowns for abilities that use the same body part (left arm, right arm, shoulder, head)
- Bot cooldowns - Bots that are pre-assembled, but fall apart after a certain amount of time. Could include a melee, a turret, or a number of small flying bots that can slow enemies.
- Flamethrower. This would be non-negotiable.
- AoE, a hovering bot that is thrown above a certain spot that rains down cluster bombs, or a thrown mine that jumps up and fires pellets in all directions.
- Mines, with differing ordnance.
- A taser.
- As a class mount, a deployable jetpack.

It's too late for me to think of anything else, but there are many creative and more unique ways of making an interesting class by using the tinker.

Hope New expansion will bring Night elves in front lines !!! They need to be more independent. Today when I look at Night elves im quite disappointed how downwards they went. Became puppets to humans. And they need new leader to Co ruler like Maiev!

And if next expansion is about Burning Legion Invasion. Orcs and Night elves will get special attention. And If (most likely) Illidan returns, we will need Maiev to kill him once more !
