I wouldn't mind having high cloth drop rate. Problem is, there is no cloth sink in Mists! First time ever we don't get to make any bags from it. The only new bag is limited by Harmony and daily cooldown, so don't really count. Embersilk is four-five times more valuable and will continue to rise while Embersilk drops just because making those Dreamcloth bags is way more efficient than the Mist ones, and the difference is minimal (26 slots v 28). We also don't get Nets anymore.

Suppose CLoth sink's will just be making greens and DEing them. Might be some good gold to be made doing that.

I can get about ~1000/hr farming Spirits (get 6-8 spirits/hr).

They sell for like 30g/stack on my server and I know the people who buy them simply resell enchanting mats.

Honestly, in a few weeks, it might be to the point where I wouldn't pickup cloth because of how often it drops and fills up my bags.

Mind telling me where you're farming Spirits?

Vale, southwest / central, a bunch of little guys. Have to have unlocked the dailies for it. Don't want to give it away too much. Can't really do it unless you're like a mage / blood dk I'd say, at least not nearly as successfully.

Realistically, I kill around 50-100/2 minutes solo as a blood dk.

Interesting I'll look into it when I hit 90 with my dk, don't get much playtime due to work lately always lagging behind. How would a monk do at the spot you mentioned? I don't know the place or the dmg they do etc. But brewmaster seems like they have fair self healing capability and stuff.

I love it. I'm currently finishing off the dread wastes, and have about twenty stacks of bolts of cloth. Will be able to level tailoring to 600, make a full pvp set, and put a significant dent in enchanting with DE mats.

The drop rate will eventually get toned down, I'm sure, but this is definitely a nice and unexpected change from paying 20k gold to level enchanting and tailoring at Cata launch.

THIS^ i dont really see at as too much different. Give it a minute once everybodies 90 Prices of the cloth will go back up.

cloth drops reccently crashed to very low levels. a guildie got like 2 after finishing all the dailies.

well except for the bandages one..

Yeah, cloth got the omega nerf. It's now even more rare than Embersilk.

Hope you guys stocked up. I just emptied out the AH of the cheap stuff.

I don't think the drop rate is high, I think you have to kill a heck of a lot of mobs for each level so it's kinda proportional

And ghost iron ore. If you spend your time mining each and every node that pops up in your path, you never get to do any quests.

I like it this way. It screws up underground hacking botters from having something worth selling and reduces player frustration at the same time.

tbh i'd rather have too much cloth than not enough, i just wanna know where i can find a 24 slot bag recipe!

I have just saved all the cloth I gathered from leveling my main/doing dailies and I've sent them all to my banker, counted my stacks just now and I have 70 stacks lying around.
