You will have an easier time doing heroics with combat spec rather than the other 2 specs simply cause of energy starving.

Combat will always do well in 5mans because they're mostly aoe groups on every pull.

Assa is only good at singletarget or more than 5 mobs... when there are only 2-4 mobs (like almost every instance pull) its barely legit to use a couple of FoS to spread DP. Combat will yield higher overall dps then.
