the equation is ambiguous and therefore both 1 and 9.

The way you wrote it isn't the greatest.

    6/(2(1+2)) = 1
    But
    (6/2)*(1+2) = 9

    pedmas or pemdas says:

    parentheses first: 6/2*3
    equations: N/A
division and multiplication happen at the same step, from left to right, so 6/2 is 3, 3*3 = 9.
Because I want to say this every single day but don't want it to get a drag:
    1) The ingame store will only sell timesaver items. It won't affect balance.
    2) No, getting to 100 in half the time isn't pay2win. raids don't start until the second week, everyone has time to get there.
    4) getting charms faster is also not pay2win. getting those is easy, but not everyone has the time or want for dailies.

The answer is 9. My college professor says that you have to use multiplication/division and subtraction/addition from Left to Right!

Told us PEMD/AS works like this. The bolded letters are grouped together.
