    Replacing HD5770 crossfire.

    Hey all.
I need some advice on a good upgrade over my current GPU setup (HD5770 Crossfire). Budget is not a limiting factor but I dont need anything overkill and I want a single GPU setup.

Should deliver 60 FPS at 1920x1080 resolution in current games (Both FPS and MMO's) on the highest settings.

    Rig:
    CPU: i7 2600K
    Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth P67
    Powersupply: Corsair 750w HX
    Memory: 8 gig
    GPU: HD5770 xfire
    Case: Fractal Design Define R2

Best price/performance at the moment is still the GTX670, so i'd go for that. If you really want to go the extra mile, then i guess a GTX680 is the way to go.
Brands, well see my post in this same thread"

Main consensus is Gigabyte or ASUS.

you can get good cards at many price ranges that fit your wide description, 660ti for 300, 670 for 400, 680 for almost 500, then theres the amd side 7950 will play everything out there at 300$ at 1080.

My personal thought since you want a single gpu and budget isnt a issue is the 680. Will be over kill for mmo's but not fps and you said you play both and you have a bit of future proofing with the 680 it should last you for awhile.

Even if budget isn't a limiting factor, I still wouldn't suggest anything more than a GTX670, it should cruise through everything from MMO's to shooters.

But if we're talking absolute max settings in games like BF3/Crysis 2 with 4xAA (which are silly settings IMO) then you'll probably need a stronger GPU setup to stay above 60 fps, probably an overclocked 680.

As usual my most recommended brands are Asus and Gigabyte, grab an aftermarket GPU from them.
