Weekly valor cap - Is raiding/lfr mandatory?

Am I missing something or will you have to run over 15 heroics per week to cap on those alone since the reward has been reduced to 1/3rd, and the only sane alternative is hitting all the raid bosses?

Don't forget that dailies give 5 valor each along with that lesser token.

doing all the dailies will net you at lest 125 Valor minimum ( assuming no professions maxed and not pasted friendly on any rep) , plus heroics pulse the daily challenge mode + challenge mode valor

I capped on Friday last week. Just by doing dailies and running some heroics/scenarios.

If my memory serves me well the most effective way to cap outside of raiding is.

Challenge mode daily with gold from that challenge mode (not exactly going to be easy) and 1 Scenario a day.

or maybe this is a bit more realistic.

Challenge mode daily + silver from that challenge mode, 1 Scenario and 2 dailies a day

Plenty of ways of gaining VP.
