Quick question on case fan setup

Running a core 3000 with stock fans.
So thats one 140mm front intake, 140mm top exhaust, 120mm back exhaust.

CPU fan is sucking, since its a Phenom II x4 stock fan. I understood that it sucks air to blow it out through the HSF

This is what it looks like at the moment: http://i.imgur.com/XO8jO.jpg
    (Sorry for large size)

I was wondering what would be a more optimal setup. for example...
    140mm top exhaust
    140mm side intake
    120mm front intake

    or

    140mm top exhaust
    140mm front intake
    120mm side intake.

Basically im asking if it would be better with 3 fans to have 2 intakes instead of 2 exhausts and one intake.
Shouldnt be bad having no rear exhaust until i can buy a 4th fan right?

    edit: fan places are
    top: 2x 140mm/120
    back: 1x 120mm
    side: 1x 140mm/120
    bottom: 1x 120mm
    front: 1x 120mm and 1x 140mm

You want more intakes than exhausts to create a pressurized effect to promote proper airflow.

Ideally you would have two front intakes, a side intake, top exhaust, rear exhaust.

Well yes i think i said that myself... I know what my fans should be doing..
Im asking that where should i swap my rear exhaust to? as an intake.. How should i mix up these 3 fans in my 7 fan max case to make it optimal.
Obviously i would know how to place them if i had all 7 fans. But im trying to work with 3 at the moment.
    Two 140mm and one 120mm.

Reason i want to do this is exactly cause of the current pressure with only 1 intake and two exhausts.
