Looking for story driven FPS game

I can mention, TPS is good too... I didnt really mean First Person, I was more meaning, gun to kill etc :P

Gears of War and Spec ops the line is really similar and both games are great

Definitely Deus Ex and Deus Ex:HR

I know the op didn't particularly care for them but of all the FPS games I've played they have the best story driven elements and rpg parts for sure.

The Mass Effect series is really that comes to mind.

I didn't care for Crysis very much.

whatever you do tho, DO NOT buy Fallout 3 from Steam, it won't work at all.

I haven't heard the same from New Vegas, since it's a newer game, but the fact that bethesda refuses to fix this issue makes me not want to support them.

I got FNV to work, but yeah, haven't gotten Fallout 3 to run. Extremely disappointing.

Personally move Metro 2033, sort of survival horror, based off a book too.
