I started in Wrath and know every single one of those things...
-I cleared all cata heroics the first few days of release (When CC was required)
-I played enhance shaman in 3.0 where Enhance had a ridiculous high amount of threat, and could really mess up poor tanks without some windshear so i'm informed
-World bosses still existed in Wotlk from prior content and were easy to farm for aesthetically pleasing gear
-Wand specialization is irrelevant because it existed then too
-Hand of Salv was an extremely useful tool on fury warriors after they popped all CDS, used by a paladin
-Healer's didn't have unlimited mana in all situations, and at end game although it wasn't unlimited it was plenty
-Resistance gear was a terrible game mechanic (/pally auras)
-Hand of a'dal was fair enough
-It's called old raids, discovered that while leveling
-Attunements still existed for certain areas as well as hardmode requirements (Think of unlocking heroic mode with a LK kill)

But they did have res gear for the first tier in WotLK. I remember the Frost Res gear that was used in Naxx (WotLK version of course), and some even used it in Ulduar....until they realized it wasn't needed.

Started in Wrath:

-You aren't going to out threat my warrior or dk nor will I attack targets that aren't yours
-TOC was easy Ulduar had some nice HMs. T11 Heroics were hard.
-Kazzak?
-They took out a lot of specializations: i.e. profession specializations once existed too
-Idk ask a Pally? Salv is an iconic ability
-wish my shaman knew had heard that when I started healing
-Resistance gear still exists, its just a flawed system
-Hand of A'dal? WAIT! That guy in Shatt had hands? Or it was just a crazy long questline requiring real work.
-Attuned to what? MC, BWL, Kara?

It wasn't even hand of salvation. It was blessing of salvation. In fact, given that Ret didn't have built in threat reduction until, I believe it was 2.4, and due to the nature of their bursty damage/threat from CS/SoC/AA slamming together at the same time, BoSalv was typically a bigger DPS upgrade for Ret than BoMight, simply so they didn't have to throttle their threat as much. It took a SECOND Paladin to give the Ret Might. :P

Anyway, I think having a poster name like "Oldschoolwow" is a giveaway, as well.
