    Big rune gaps.

Currently play 2H frost and I've noticed that I get massive gaps waiting on runes to recharge, I'm talking about 5-10 seconds, has anyone else had this happening to them? It's quite annoying.

    You should game runes.

This always happens for resource system specs at low levels of gear, more haste will give you more to do.

Yeah i get some gaps aswell, like yourself i end up getting 5-10 sec at times.

10s is pretty much impossible, but yeah with these haste levels we're gonna have gaps. Its part of why haste is such a good stat for us.

The biggest gap ive had is 8 seconds, but thats not very often, its mostly 4-5

I'm only at +3000 hit and I get 5-second dead zones too.

But, I finally hit my exp and hit cap (ilvl is 442) so everything should be better from here. I might stack +160 haste gems even.

I think you mean 3000 haste.
Im at 5800 haste almost and i still have dead zones.

Even with 7200 haste you'll still have dead zones...

Right now its just not worth gemming haste IMO.

It gets better as you gear up. In 489 gear in beta frost played really well.

    Yes, +3000 haste. Sorry

We didn't have the proc 10 rp from the old MotFW anymore... so I imagine high-haste will still have some (not as bad) autoattack-only moments.

Gaming runes outside of AoE is pointless as 2H Frost. Playing DW/Masterfrost? Feel free to hold one UH Rune....outside of that though?

I cant wait until people have 10,000+ in stat values, that will indeed usher in the golden age of wow.

If you choose to spec RE, you will game it as blood too. Most blood tanks are choosing BT (for control) or RC (for consistency) over RE (maximum death strikes over time) though.

I wasnt gaming runes, I havent bothered with it for that exact reason, I'm just talking about single-target dps.

"Gaming runes"? That's new terminology to me. Would anybody care to explain that?

Gaming runes: since RE can only proc a fully depleted rune, keeping at least one rune of a pair active ensures a proc from either of the other pairs. DW Frost games the unholy runes so RE always procs a frost or death rune, which can be used on a HB, rather than an unholy rune which could be used on less-damaging skills overall.
In a nutshell: gaming runes means you keep one rune off cooldown all the time.

I have 4-5 seconds max but still feels forever when this happens. Auto attacking for 4 seconds is very very boring. But all this should be fixed with better gear. Dont think we will have 0 seconds even in best in slot but probably 1-2 seconds from time to time, which is reasonable.
The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head.
